I forget the exact details, but a couple years ago I bet kyrgios + a lot of games vs wawrinka. Kyrgios was up by so many games that if wawrinka won every tensing game, I would still win my bet. Kyrgios said something about wawtinka?s girlfriend and he resigned. My bet was voided. Not your traditional bad beat, but I was at a point where my bet could literally only be graded as a win
- That match you speak of (Kyrgios told Stan Wawrinka that Thanasi Kokkinakis had sex with his then girlfriend Donna Vekic) where Warinka retired had nothing to do with what Kyrgios said. Wawrinka retired in third set because of injury, he didn't find out what Kyrios said until after he retired from the match.
- About 80 percent of Sportsbooks grade the "game spread" and "over/under" as a win in the scenario you speak off.
Yes I guess it would count as a "bad beat", but considering about 80 percent of Sportsbooks would have graded your wager as a win, it makes it less of a "bad beat" then others have mentioned in this thread. But yes that would suck for sure.
And as I previously stated here, I had two tennis wagers that were worse "bad beats" then almost everything posted in this thread.
