Or alternatively; good news/good news ;)

I'm going to stop posting Super 12 and NRL plays.
This season has been very average at best and very poor at worst. I haven't been able to put the time in like I did last year and the results show. If I was able to contribute useful write-ups I would continue but as time constraints have made that impossible I'll pass altogether. Have continued to make a nice profit on other sports, particularly a MLB system that some of u may have been following elsewhere, so no point in draining some of that profit when I can't seem to get a handle on the NRL in particular.
Still plenty of good 'cappers here to follow on those sports though - hoss has had a fine season, congrats buddy, while cartman, being smarter than me :D , is also well worth following.
I will try and check in to the threads prior to games to offer any info or opinions I have that may be of help to you guys.

The other good news is that what time I tried to put in to those sports will now be dedicated to the World Cup soccer.
As Nolan said, that thread has some great info and the potential to be a massive help to all MadJack members in the next 2 months.
With the NBA and NHL seasons winding down time-wise in relation to 'capping, and the MLB system taking me about 10 mins a day to cash :) , I should be able to spend the large majority of my handicapping time from here on in doing the World Cup.

Yes I do, but not here...

Out of much respect to Jack, I won't post the site(s) where I do post it - maybe u could drop me an e-mail?

I assure u it's not a system that everyone...or should that be almost anyone.... is keen on but it has shown some strong results so far.

Sincerely

An overjoyed Gooner :D

</time>Ahead of UFC 253, Costa was considered a very realistic challenger to Adesanya and had an unbeaten 13-0 record going into the fight.

However the 'Last Stylebender' proved why he's considered one of the best middleweight champions ever, winning easily, earning a second round TKO.

The New Zealander has now moved on and will face Jan Blachowski for the light heavyweight title at UFC 259 on Saturday, but Costa has finally given his excuse for his poor showing, blaming an inability to sleep and wine.

"I was a little drunk when I fought. Maybe I had a little hangover," he claimed on his own YouTube channel.

"I couldn't sleep because of the leg cramps. I remember that the fight was at 9 in the morning and we had to get up at 5 in the morning to prepare, stretch, bandage our hands.

"The UFC told us to get up to at 5 in the morning to go to the arena where we fought. I did not fall asleep until 2:30am.

"It was my fault and I don't blame anyone else for it. It was something I chose myself, but I had to sleep because I hadn't done it in the last 24 hours.

"I drank wine. Lots of wine. A whole bottle of wine to fall asleep. I had one drink and it didn't work. Two drinks and it didn't work. Half the bottle and it didn't work. And in the end I drank it all."

The show was part of the second run of fights on 'Fight Island,' on Yas Island in Dubai, and were fought on US time, despite being far away from the UFC's home.

That was why the fighters has to wake up at 5 am but it was the same for everyone else and they were in Dubai for a good few days ahead of the fight to adjust, something clearly Costa struggled with.
