Does anyone really think that bama team would have beaten a Colt lead Texas? :mj07: :mj07: :mj07:

What a joke of a champion.

with the way the game started

no

then again.....the game would have played out completely differently

bama looked like they had no chance to throw the ball and if mccoy is in there with a 10-0 or 14-0 lead with the way that game started bama would have been fighting uphill

They KNOCKED him out of the game, he didn't hurt himself running or anything like that. The whole point of the game is to get after the QB and hit him as many times as possible.

I would question why you have your All American QB running the f-cking option against the most aggresive, hardest hitting defense in the land.

Actually, Im no UT lover, but I think UT would have mauled bama badley if colt was healthy. They got pretty lucky.

Just think about the things Texas did to help Bama.
1) Gideon picking off the punt actually cost them close to 20 yards in field had he just batted it down.
2) TD erased on illegal formation then should have ran it on 3rd from the 1 with Gilbert in the game.
3) Get a gift turnover and go nowhere and get 3.
4) When pinned before half up 14-3 just need 1 first down to chew some clock and might get out of half 14-3.
5) The foolish play call before the half costs them 7.
And that is just the first half.

I thought some poor playcalling early with Gilbert was no help as the short passes were ALL over the middle.

Did Lou Holtz just say "Look at McElroy, he didn't have a great game"

No kidding dipshit. He was sacked more times than he completed passes.
He said Bama would have won even with McCoy.
Not saying they would not have but you sure as hell can't say they would have!!!

And if my aunt had balls she would be my uncle. Sure they might have won with colt, but they may not have. Bottom line is it sucks that we didnt get to see the best players from both sides play.

I never understand why people need to pad their stats. Gideon should have batted it down but do they ever?

Not Bama's fault. Just obvious watching the game that Bama never had a chance to face the best. How is a USC fan atacked for pointing out the obvious that UT was most likely the better team?

Good for Bama though, you beat whos in front of you and they did not

If he would have done that against Tech last year then Texas would have been playing Florida instead of OU.
He dropped the easy pick the play before the Crabtree TD.
That was the first thing that came to my mind when he picked it.
