Always excited for college football to start.

First play of the season is in:

USC Ov 66 -120

One thing you can count on is Lincoln Riley running up the score. He gets the focus of a national audience with the Heisman winner. USC will get their points and will run it up if they can. I think San Jose can score. They have a solid QB and USC's defense gave up some points last year. I think we see a 52-20 type game. Was first on the USC TT but going with the over as I think San Jose will score.

Still working on the Navy/Notre Dame game. It is hard to get any solid information on exactly what to expect from the Navy offense this year. I love that they finally switched coaches as I have been calling for that for a while. Word is they will still be option based but will be passing more. I lean towards taking the points for now, but need to work on it.

What do they say: Be careful what you wish for. Been wanting Navy to change coaches for years and they might as well have kept Niuamataolo. This guy is just as clueless. I know they are outclassed but they are in for a long year.

Easy winner last night, game went almost to script.

I put one in already for next week:

Nebraska +8.5 -120

I will gladly take a Rhule coached team getting these kind of points.

Nice hit last night. You called it to a T.....Agree on Rhule. Didn't like him with my Panthers but a very good college coach.

Play number 2 is in for this week:

TCU -19 -120

Not sure Colorado could have a worse opening game. I think TCU's defense will give Colorado fits. Sanders and Hunter are talented but this is the first time they are going to see a real defense. I think Sanders will be running for his life most of the game. Chandler Morris may be better than Max Dugan so I think TCU will have no issues moving the ball against an outmatched defense. I think many are expecting a big Deion Sanders surprise, but it is going to take time to put this team together. I will be very surprised if this game does not serve as a bit of a wake up call for him. TCU big.

Trying to narrow week 1 plays, but there are a few more I am looking at. Middle TN will be a play just waiting to see if public drives up the line anymore. Same with Duke.

Just more along the lines above. More I read, more I think Colorado's defense will really struggle in this game. Just do not think they will be ready. They gave up this is almost every loss last year and I can not see how they will be better this year. All the transfers will likely affect the trenches the most, so I expect them to struggle at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.

Another easy one with Nebraska. Boy did they blow that game. Last night was a good example that the new transfer window is not always so great. Can make the argument that Nebraska and Florida would be much better off playing younger guys that can develop. The Nebraska QB literally lost the game for them with a couple horrible decisions and the Florida QB might as well been back at Wisconsin. Still do not understand how that is the best the Gators can do.

Small play for tonight:

Hawaii +3.5 -119

I honestly do not know much about Stanford but I doubt they are any better than Vandy. Hawaii has a strong road game under their belt and now coming home to a state that is suffering some. They played well last week and I expect a strong effort tonight. I think they win, but I will take the points.

I added this:

USC TT Ov 52 -120

See no reason they do not put up close to 60 again. Nevada is worse than San Jose St. They will run it up.

I will likely add a small play to MD Tn +40, but it seems to be a popular play. Not so sure Alabama's offense is very good right now.

Trying to limit plays. Duke is still on my radar.

Should have factored in the Briles factor. What a horrible offensive game plan by TCU. I give Colorado credit but TCU was not prepared properly for this game.

I put a small bet on the MD Over and the Ohio State TT Ov.

Briles is a fucking moron. Seriously, he just has to throw the ball in running situations. They run the ball they win this game as they are wearing them out. He just has to throw. Horrible hire by Dykes as he will cost them games.

Really do not like this weeks card but will play a couple small action plays:

Charlotte +24.5 -108
Bama -6 -132

I will believe TX is good when I see it.

MD did not really look very sharp last week against weak competition. The offensive line, which was their biggest question mark coming into the season, did not look good in particular. I will take the points.

Almost didn't get the Charlotte win as they fell apart, but at least I got it. Bama is mortal and is no longer dominant. Give TX credit for finally winning a big one. Should give them momentum.

I already put this in:

Virginia +15.5 -126

Maryland eventually dominated on the ground as they wore Charlotte down, but Charlotte's offense was really, really bad. UVA has at least played some good competition and will put up a fight. Little Tua has just been okay and is still throwing bad interceptions and MD's receiving core once again has not been as strong as advertised. I think UVA will stay in this game so I will gladly grab all these points.

I am sure Colorado State coach is trying to motivate his team, but I think all he did was motivate Colorado more. Coach Prime will stick it to them if he can. They will put up a lot of points in this game.

Got lucky with that Colorado total last week, but it can pay to play it early.

I like the card this week:

USC TT Ov 48 -129 - back to the well with this one
Oregon TT Ov 45.5 -112 - best O Colorado has seen by far
Ole Miss +7.5 -128 - Bama is not going to solve their offense problems quickly and Ole Miss can score
FSU -2 - I just do not believe in Clemson's offense

If Florida comes to play they should destroy Charlotte as they have no offense at all, but could be a let down spot. Very tempted to take BYU also. Not sure why Kansas is laying this king of number. Need to look into it more. I could see a 4 team home dog parlay tomorrow night. Finally, I am very tempted to take Notre Dame + the points but my history with them is terrible.
