Will venture out cautiously today. Looks like makings of classic trap with PM T-Storms projected.Could turn it to lower scores in pm with softer greens so will play just one am/pm and 2 with same tees.

Mattiace +105 over Huston @ $plays
Tee adv(am vs pm) plus Mattiace ranks 36th in scrambling a premier stat on these hard greens.

Clarke -115 vs Scott @ 5Dimes
Veteran should have nod on this tough track.

Perry +105 (- 1/2 stroke) over Garcia @ WSEX
Both playing in pm and Garcia will have to fire at pin and gamble in hopes of seeing Saturday---tough to do here.

What a great call on Els Stan, win or lose. Is not this weather a bummer. Its the Tiger aziom. The optimum conditions will follow him each rd 1st 2 days every time and no wind projected in am.
I am looking at a conservative 4 to 5 stroke difference over pm rds thur compared to pm pairings fri.

2nd round update: 1-1-1; -0.10 units

Donald/Baddeley LOST by 9
Byrd/Duval WON by 4
Els/Wood TIED (Push)

Mid-point update:

Allenby/Scott LOST by 1
Perry/Scott Leads by 7
Appleby/Gamez Trails by 4
Rose/Baddeley Trails by 7
Sluman/Barber WON by 6
Clarke/Gamez Trails by 1
Woods/Els Leads by 4

Hoch 66th
Garcia mc
Huston 25th

Not a great situation at the cut. An Els victory over Woods in the 2nd round would have helped, but a very strong finish from Woods denied the win. No plays for the 3rd round, so will look to turn this event around in the final round.

Between Green Bay and Iowa City
The Sunday leaderboard will be popping within the hour. Opting for one big play and a boat load of small ones.

PARLAY Perry(-110) over Clarke WITH Rose(-123) over Clark WITH Els(+150) over Woods for 1* @ 7.65/1

Not a good week. Had Huston finished in the top-5 - he had been 4th after 54 holes - it would have saved the week, but apart from Bradley Dredge this has not been a good week for picking anything. Will bounce back next week!

Outrights week - 3units ytd +28 units

Treaded lightly for this event but would have been prudent to skip all plays after rain hit mid 2nd rd. Changed course entirely and did not even watch much of it last 2 days as it seemed uneventful.Elements converted course where experiece should have weighed heavily to grip it and rip it layout.Lucky to come out of it as is.
