Yeah dude but I have a bad feeling that his brain might turn to mush in a few years like McMahon's is now. I hope not as I like Favre but he is already complaining of memory loss. Rodgers is a bad ass and I am glad he is out of the game but I hope he comes back later in the season.
Mags calling Rodgers soft? How many games has he missed in past 4 years? Not everyone is a Favre, man Packer fans have been so spoiled
FDC... I hope he comes back too, but if not, let's bring back Favre! Yea, his brain may be mush from all those hits, but it's not like he was a cerebral QB to begin with. He was more in the Johnny Unitas, Joe Kapp mold. Tough as nails. Rodgers is like Montana...very pretty QBs, but not very tough.
I'll take a guy like Favre (or Roethlesberger) any day over a fancy QB....(Peyton falls in this fancy QB category too...he took a full year off)..
Tons of respect to Favre for playing every game for the Packers and showing up for work every game even though he was also hurt a ton...
and I am beginning to agree with you that they might be cognitively challenged... :shrug:
BP... He missed 1 since he'd been a starter...which is one more than Favre missed in his 16 year Packer career....Rodgers was also hurt constantly before he became a starter...it was a joke, he'd play like 3 plays as a backup and have to leave the game because he hurt his foot or something...
Hard to find tough guys like Favre anymore....most are fancy boys who can't take the punishment, like Peyton and Montana....
Well yes if I recall he missed part of a Lions game and then the following week to the Pats, yes he was hurt before he was the starter but who the hell cares? He was the back up.. Your post seems a bit Knit Picky IMO, he's a top 3 QB in league has missed one game as starter and you call him soft. To me that's delusional
Packers can't defend good passing teams, that will clip them in playoffs if they make it. They are solid against the run and I would spread them out every time
He had both hands on the ball and both feet on the ground before his knee hit out of bounds, so how would that have been ruled incomplete if reviewed?
Yeah what's up with the no challenge? Doesn't look good for Packer bettors at this point, even McCarthy is on the Bears side lol
