thanx jman for posting that ...

I have always liked Belly and like i said was shocked to see his truculent behavior, he was super wired to win that game and tho the reporters/photographers wouldve certainly moved had they possessed eyes in the back of their heads, his reaction was juvenile ...

However, him recognizing his misdoing shows he has a conscience and not runaway ego, which i was pretty certain hed address ... The diff betwen him and Knight, Bobby would find a way to blame anyone but himself ... He couldnt even ever say maybe he could've found a better way to get kid's attention than strike him sharply on chin, or that Neil Heaton incident was unforgivable (caught on tape like Rodney King), No Bully Bobby denies he ever choked him in his latest bio, amusing ... I know i digresseed but kudos to Belly for saying he messed up ... You guys should read Halberstams book on Belly, I loved it ...

Gregg, what's your feelings on Seattle this weekend, I definitely think they can win that game despite their terrible showing earlier this season against Chicago. Matt H is plenty familiar with poor weather living his life in Massachusetts, going to BC & playing in Seattle. Grossman is a gigantic liability. I definitely see Seattle has a opportunity to win this game.

Bill Belichick was so intent on hugging former protege Eric Mangini after Sunday's Patriots victory that he shoved aside a Boston Globe cameraman to meet him.

After refusing to address the incident Sunday, the Patriots coach called the photographer at home to apologize.

"I do feel bad about that," Belichick said on Boston radio station WEEI. "I really didn't mean to hit him up high there. I was trying to just push him out of the way and get to Eric. It wasn't ... it certainly wasn't called for, so I ... I wish that hadn't happened."

After the game, Belichick wasn't as talkative.

"I'm not going to get into a postgame analysis here," Belichick said. "Really, I've had enough of that."

Belichick's lukewarm handshakes with Jets head coach Mangini after two regular-season matchups had drawn much attention. There was much speculation what would happen between the two coaches after the wild-card matchup.

"I've got to tell you, I wasn't focused on that moment. It was nice, but I honestly wasn't thinking about that," Mangini said about the hug with Belichick.

Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.

I liked he made the call.....

Never understood why coaches shook hands anyway. Its kinda stupid. Do they do this in any other sport? A simple wave should be good enough. I wouldn't shake this snakes hand either. I trian him nourish him, let him go for a great opportunity and then he turns around to try to snake me with my coaches and players? I would have run over and kicked him in the nuts. But hey that is just me.

shamrock, i teased hawks to + 16 to colts +11.5--ill take PM and those #s anytime ... I think the hawks have a shot to win SU, grossman is just about as bad as a qb can get often enough ... plus hawks played in bad weather all year here and will be very focused after their whooping last time in windy city
