I liked what I heard from Askren in the interviews on the preview show....looks to be a real gamer...

know nothing about jeff curan's opponent....but curran is the chi-town boy

mayhem should be safe

btw...askren was a dominant(to put it mildly) ncaa wrestler his jr and sr years in college....check wikipedia...

but,i guess that doesn`t automatically make him an mma fighter...

Freire-Romero Fight Pulled From Bellator 14 ShareThis

Thursday?s Bellator 14 bout between Patricio Freire (12-0) and William Romero (5-0) has been pulled off the card following visa issues for Freire.

The contest has been rescheduled for Bellator 15 on April 22, according to a press release sent by the promotion on Wednesday evening.

Taking the fight?s place on Thursday?s FOX Sports Net-televised bill will be a lightweight showdown pitting Toby Imada (23-13) against James Krause (11-2).

I trust these wrestlers that are new to MMA (Warren, Askren) more than I trust the BJJ guys trying to make the transition (Galvao, Raul Castillo).

Let's see if I trust Askren as much in a few hours. But I like what I am hearing from the kid. And who the hell has Ryan Thomas ever beat?
