Rd 2

West comes out looking to kick, and Makovsky catches one and takes West down. Makovsky land a couple elbows, and West comes back with an grazing upkick before scrambling back to his feet. West continues to look for the high kick. Makovsky is pressing the action, and eats a jab for his troubles. Makovsky shoots in and barely dodges a knee, driving through West for the takedown. West is doing a great job of tying makovsky up from the bottom. Makovsky gets free and stands, landing a kick to the thigh from standing. Makovsky reengages West on the ground as the round comes to an end.

Rd 3

Makovsky again comes out catching kicks, and takes West to the mat. Makovsky ends up in side control, but West regains guard and pushes off for the standup. Makovsky hits a nice duck under takedown, and fights his way back to side control. Makovsky lands a nice back elbow, and West looks to have a cut above his right eye. West gets back to his feet and looks for the high kick again. Makovsky shoots in and looks to be caught in a guillotine. West loses grip and Makovsky is back on top as the round comes to an end.

Rd 4

West comes out with a flying knee, which Makovsky catches, and brings West down to the mat to side control. Makovsky is doing a better job of neutralizing West?s ground game, however, West is landing some elbows from the bottom. Jason Herzog brings them back to their feet. West stuffs a Makovsky takedown attempt, only to be taken down on the second attempt. Makovsky moves to half guard, but is brought back to guard after an upkick attempt by West. They come back to their feet as the round comes to an end.

Rd 5

The final round sees these two combatants throwing kicks. Makovsky catches West low, and the action is paused. The action restarts, with West pushing forward. Makovsky catches another kick, and brings West down to the mat. West is working a closed guard, looking for a big elbow from the bottom. West is rolling to his right looking for the Kimura, but it is not there. Makovsky moves back to side control, before West buck him off to go back standing. West throws tow more high kicks, both of which are blocked. Not much landing for West in the final round. This title fight has come to an end.

Over a minute in, Konrad gets a takedown, but Grove is right back to his feet. Grove lands an outside kick to Konrad?s thigh. Konrad gets another takedown and lands in half guard. Not much action on the ground from these two. Konrad gets the mount. Grove is doing a nice job of controlling Konrad?s posture from the bottom, but Konrad is working on Grove?s right arm, and has a keylock locked in. Grove taps.
