Today's round has been rained out.

Price withdrawing must be late-breaking news, he is still listed on tee times.

However, Glen Day and Kenny Perry have officially withdrawn and were replaced with alternates Kent Jones and Rocky Walcher.

My Pic 7 are Cink, Langham, Love, Michelson, CPerry, Toms and Weir.

Two 72 plays are:
Weir +105 over Els and Toms -115 over Olazabal. (I totally agree with Ian!)

Last Week 3-1

Good Luck to all...

Might be the 1st event canceled due to weather.I been trying to play in it past 4 days and it isn't fun.Stopped by a Kinkos in Bama to throw together some contest selections and they had aple computers.Took me forever to figure them out.Looks like the gang found some good bargains as most lines have moved a great deal. Will sit this out for most part but may have place bet @Oly if they get site back up in time and they are still available.Speaking of weather I see they revamped pgatour.com and omitted the direct weather link with hourly forcasts however found indirect link under the "travel" link for those interested.

1837 Sorry for no response but have been out of contact since Monday early am.

Dawgball Will keep heads up on your boy.

Dogs,

I have to admit that I am not much of a golfer. Last time I played was at the Woodlands in Houston.

I got two birdies, a squirrel and a duck!

AzRusty

P.S. I missed two turtles by inches!

1st round update: 3-1-0 and +4.20 units

Satisfactory way to start an unsatisfactory tournament. Perry dropped three shots in his last two holes, but still beat Norman by one and Weir by four. Els also beat Weir, by two shots, after a picking up three shots in the last few holes. Stankowski was a big loser though, by six shots to McCarron. The Love play was void as Price had already withdrawn.

The 72-hole plays are also encouraging. Perry's late collapse resulted in a one-shot deficit to Parry and a tie with Waite, but the other plays are all ahead. Perry leads Norman by one, Kelly leads Coceres by seven and Toms leads Olazabal by four. Of the outrights, Love and Cink are both 16th, but Weir's tournament is probably already over. He lies in 114th position.

2nd round results 0-2-1

C Perry/Damron loss by 7
Waite/Kendall loss by 6

Bad timing jumping in middle of this event and even worse selections.

2nd round update: 1-3-1 and -2.58 units

Frustrating way to hand back too much of yesterday's gains. DiMarco shot 67 to move to the top of the leaderboard, but both of his opponents shot the two low rounds of the day: 65
eek.gif
In the top play, Els also shot 67 and secured only a push against Weir, while McCarron's 67 was enough for a five-shot win against Stankowski. Parnevik was edged by a shot to Olazabal.

Just as frustrating was Perry's collapse from being 3rd after 16 holes to missing the cut after 36. He carried on where he left off yesterday and missed the cut to hand victories to Norman, Parry and Waite in the 72-hole plays by seven, six and two shots respectively. In the other two plays, Kelly beat Coceres by eight shots and Toms is leading Olazabal by five with 36 holes to play. In the outrights, Love and Cink fell to 20th place, while Weir rose to 41st, though at only eight shots out of the lead, anything is possible with 36 holes being played in one day!

3rd round
McCarron +100 over Dimarco @ $plays
oly 72 hole cont.
Lickliter +120 over Paulson starting 1 down
Flesch +165 over Kendall starting 2 down

Saw comment by Paulson that he thought his back wouldn't take 36 holes and taking his word on it.

Just like odds on Flesch despite bad form. Will be some big swings in 36 in a day and 2 strokes not much to overcome.

Els shoots 81 and Weir shoots 73 in 3rd round - Weir now up by 7.

Hope 4th round continues in the same fashion.

3rd round update: 3-1-1 and +3.00 units

Chaotic day with 36 holes to be played so matchups only offered for the first 18, but certainly made easier by a good showing on a high-scoring day. Three-shot wins for Maruyama and Norman, seven-shot win for Goggin and a two-shot loss for Parnevik. Norman and Daly tied, while Huston did not play today. Back soon with final update.

Thankyou Mr McCarron - a decent winner at last and well done Chris Smith for a brilliant last round to finish T3rd
That should pay for the up and coming Honeymoon

Final update: 8-7-2 and +3.38 units for the week

In the only remaining 72-hole play, Toms secured a four-shot win over Olazabal to make it a nice profit on the week despite the losses with Chris Perry.

Update on outright play: 1-2 and +1.00 units

Mike Weir shot an incredible 67 when others were struggling with the hard, fast greens in the wind - Frank Lickliter shot 83! I wrote his tournament "was probably over" after the 1st round, glad to say I was wrong! Cink finished one shot out of a place finish though he had numerous opportunities on the back nine to find that birdie but was very tentative with the putter. Love finished 11th.

PGA Tour ytd:
Matchups/props: 116-99; +8.15 units
Outright plays: 5-33; -10.25 units

All Tours ytd:
Matchup/props: 180-169; -2.46 units
Outright plays: 24-114; +63.95 units

WTG Ian!!! But they say you never want to win the event before the Masters ...

============================================

Can't add up, plus Simon Bold voided all 72-hole matchup bets when it became questionable that 72-holes would be played

A very unsavoury practise indeed for a company not affiliated to IBAS. Did make small profit out of their decision, but will keep my balances there to a minimum and would boycott them if they didn't have the weakest golf lines in the business!

final result 1-0 on days matches 0-2 72>cont
MCarron defeats Dimarco by 1
72 hole continuations
Lickliter/Paulson loss by 9
Flesch/Kendall loss by 2

Must have been April Fools comment by Paulson on his back and I was the fool.
Kendall played much better than I expected especially in these conditions. In fact Flesch played better than expected and would have thought it would have got job done.

Matches for week 1-4-1 ytd 85-73
outrights for week none ytd +3.7
3ball combos for week none ytd +5.75

Nice job Ian.
