Well documented above, but for me it's

Huston 40/1 Oly
Cink took 50/1 with Coral earlier in the week, 40 still around
and Mike Weir who has looked good on his few visits here; 25/1

Between Green Bay and Iowa City
Matchups
YTD: 20-17-2 (+0.30*)
LW: 4-2-0
Outrights
YTD: 0-12 (-4.80)

Time to change things up with my outrights. Short odds will dominate wagers next week; this week, will lower the stakes and give a try to an "each way" play (which finds me still surprised at the strict correlation between Top 4 paying 1/4 the odds to win).

Outrights @ 0.30*:
Huston(40/1) e.w. @ Olympic
Weir(25/1) to Win only @ 5dimes
Janzen(80/1) to Win only @ Olympic

72 Hole Matchups @ 1*:
Singh(-115) over Mickelson @ Bet365
Cink(+100) over Love @ Olympic (with Cink -130 @ Bet365?!?!)

1st Round 3 Ball @ 1*:
Huston(6/4) over Love/Elkington @ Bet365

Chump Change to Win Only @ 5dimes:
Couples(66/1); Parnevik(50/1); Perez(70/1); Carter(100/1)

1st rd results 0-2
Couples -115/Pampling loss by 2
Huston +100/Goosen loss by 3

Not a good start. Would take same line on Couples today if available but definately need to throw out any past course performances on Goosen.I have finally gotten it through my hard head he is totally different player after winning open.

Got a couple today that are uncharacteristic and the 1st wagers over -120 this year and are basically a hedge.
Goosen -125 over Faxon @ $plays
Singh -130 over Goosen @ 5Dimes

to lose both wagers Faxon will have to beat both Goose and VJ.
Chances of that are remote.Faxon could only manage par yesterday in the most pristine scoring part of the day.A paltry driving ave of 274 yesterday puts mucho pressure on rest of his game.He gets to try the high 30's temp this am.Singh is only one of the 3 to get warmer and less wind(projected) in pm.

What about Love 42 on the front 30 on the back:confused:

DTB,
Must admit I was tempted to give you the Goosen stats since US Open again (last posted during Players) when I saw you were against him again this week... at least you've learnt your lesson in April... not October :)

Mid-point update:

Cink/Sabbatini WON by 2
Perry/Sabbatini WON by 5
May/Paulson Trails by 5
Singh/McCarron Leads by 1
Sutton/Westwood Trails by 1

Toms 7th
Goosen 3rd
Cink mc

My luck is definitely turning on this Tour ... for the second straight week a matchup opponent closes with a NINE to miss the cut and hand over victory. Cink should have lost and Perry was tied with Sabbatini until that last hole. Very strange. Very good position in the outrights and so long as Sutton makes up the one-shot deficit to Westwood, this could be an extremely good event.

At the cut 2rd matches 1-1 72 hole 1-1
2nd rd
Goosen over Faxon by 3
Singh loses(-130) to Goosen by 3
Lose 30 cents on exchange, not good
72 holes
Cink over Love by 1 win
Monty makes cut loss
Cink/Love was battle for who was worse
Monty played well, hats off to him.
pending 72 holes
Singh/Mich 5 down
Weir/Goose 3 down
Perry/Faxon 2down
Got some ground to make up on pending but as with last week there will be some wild swings with greens firming up.Appears short hitters not at as much disadvantage with firm fairways but will have to try and hold longer irons on these greens over weekend. We'll see how they fair.

todays plays will add outright for (1 unit) to place @ Oly
Singh +4.5
Don't play many this short thus increasing to full unit.
Singh playing some of his best golf despite scoring mediocre.
Leads this event after 2 rds in GIR's and matter of time till a few putts fall.

Mick -110 over Elk - 2 1/2 strokes Oly 72 hole cont

3rd rd
Goosen -115 over Harrington @ $plays
Somewhat tough to gage their scores especially yesterday when both have 2 eagles.Giving Goose the nod with rank of 2nd in GIR's after 2 rds and 1st look @ course for Harrington.

Don't know how I trapped myself into playing all this chalk in this event but will ride week out.

Mickelson -120 over Goose 4th round only.

Goose cant keep putting like that can he? Swing seems erratic. started breaking down last 3holes today, should carry over to a 75ish tommorrow.

Between Green Bay and Iowa City
Heading out on a limb for Sunday.

3 Balls @ Bet365 for 1*:
Harrington(1/1) over Hart/Johnson
Hart(13/8) over Harrington/Johnson
I can pull for the Iowa lad off the start without expecting him to possess the poise to match strokes with both Padraig and Dudley, both of whom I kind of like in this spot. God Bless and God Damn.

Otherwise, I was looking to stumble about with Westwood or DiMarco.
