We can keep giving thousands of dollars from our paychecks to our individual employers to pay for health insurance that won't keep us from going bankrupt if we have a major medical issue or we can give it to the government to pay for true insurance. I know someone that retired, wife got cancer, now he's working again to pay for treatment. This system sucks.

Gaslighting is a form of manipulation and emotional abuse, and it?s a hallmark of narcissism. Narcissists may spew blatant lies, falsely accuse others, spin the truth, and ultimately distort your reality.
Signs of gaslighting include the following:
You no longer feel like the person you used to be.
You feel more anxious and less confident than you used to be.
You often wonder if you?re being too sensitive.
You feel like everything you do is wrong.

Not to mention that we could have easily paid for all of it without a tax increase.
With the money spent on the wall that Mexico was going to pay for, the 36 Billion given to farmers to prevent bankruptcy due to trump "trade war", the money spent on staff and such on weekly golf trips, fake national emergency at the border, building concentration camps at the border, sending troops back to Iraq, more troops to assist the Saudi Prince who funded the 9/11 attacks and dismembered a U.S. citizen, an egregious tax cut for the wealthy, and so much more, would have easily funded any and all universal healthcare costs as well as, access to affordable advanced education, student loan forgiveness, reduced household bankruptcies, and the list goes on and on.
Unfortunately, the citizenry of the states are apathetic and obtuse when it comes to self awareness and voting towards their own self interest.
