His legacy will be tainted by letting Trump get a second term (via him not getting out of the race like he said he would). Only the mis/uninformed will consider his 4 years unsuccessful.

Low unemployment throughout term (despite everyone saying a recession was coming)
2023-2024 had the highest 2 year stock market return in nearly 30 years
CHIPS Act brought manufacturing back to the US in a big way
Infrastructure Bill will continue to pay off over the next 10 years
Crime is down since Trump left office
Ending the never ending war in Afghanistan

He will take the blame for the (global) inflation after the pandemic that was a result of the business world shutting down for a year while consumers continued to buy up supply. Every western nation leader was hel responsible for this, even though it was inevitable. The US inflation rate was much lower than it's counterparts, but that was not something that was understood or mattered.
