VERY BIG
had my eye on this game all week and can't
wait to pull the trigger. Zach Duke may be emerging
as one of the better young lefthanders in the game,
but considering how bad the Pirates have been, we
don't believe the low price on this game is justified.
The Astros went 17-7 at home vs. southpaws in '05
(+$650) and they are scoring a very respectable 5.8
runs per game overall in 2006. Pittsburgh lost money
vs. lefties last year (-$750) and have posted a dreadful
1-7 (-$615) mark against them to start the new season.
Wandy Rodriguez has looked very sharp (2.84 ERA),
leading Houstion to victories in all three of his starts
so far (+$305). Things are perfectly aligned for the
home team in this one,
