What about the NFL? If MLB & NBA have worked, maybe they can make it work. That would at least salvage something.

The MLB has worked?

Huh?

It has been a giant cluster fuck, season will be cancelled soon. Or to put it another way.....the MLB season never should have commenced.

you mean from all the people that stand to lose their jobs as a result of potential cancellation?

i?m sure you understand that this will stretch far beyond the football offices

The NFL IS 100% focused on capturing NCAA advertising dollars and having games on Saturday.....they seem to be moving forward.

I couldn't blame them, they probably have a lot better chance to do the 'bubble' thing, to some extent, than the colleges. And it wouldn't surprise me to see say the SEC & ACC do their own thing and attempt to start in the fall. Like you said, ton of advertising money out there to be had.

When the supply goes down, the demand will go through the roof.

No, from the fucking losers who can't live without college football. I completely understand the impact this virus is having on peoples lives. Too bad it took months for some to take it seriously, or am I part of the problem?

Ah, so you're still in the "fuck it, let's do nothing" camp.

Never mind the carnage being done by the virus. The real carnage comes when we cancel college football. :mj07:

I believe you are the whiner I'm talking about.

I?m hopeful of the sec, acc and big 12 coming together and playing, maybe bring in a few schools, Ohio st, Michigan, penn st, Nebraska, Iowa...this virus with a 99.9 percent chance you live is so over played

I absolulely love Ncaa football........yet, with 165K deaths and no real signs of a big recession in cases. I ask, is it really worth the loss of ONE life to have college football? These kids are not getting paid, as far as we know
I have a lot less years in front of me than behind me  maybe my take on this may be different?
These guys have the rest of their lives and would be a damn shame to lose one kid to this virus.......These coaches are not getting younger, I think as the season would progress the older coaches would be in harms way, Games would be over then.......If you have ever played and been in a locker room, it would be impossible to social distance, period!!!
