Hey guys, recently had a pulminary embolism and was wondering what advice diet wise you could give me along with any other. Going to be on blood thinners for several months at least. Really don't know what caused it and I have a job where i am not sitting still for hours and it doesn't run in my family.

I wish I knew something about it that I could share but I don't.

Sorry you're going through this.

The reason/source for the blood clots in your lungs has to be ascertained so it can be prevented in the future. People used to die all the time from PEs. Glad u made it. Give me some more background or you course of illness.

I’m doing well; thanks for asking! I keep in touch with some peeps from around here, but not on the site much except to look for fades (/ass-kissing In thread/lamenting losses from his followers) from a famous multi sport player who always fades the Knights and Warriors. No names mentioned.

Hey 65, well never really got a answer to why but still have one in my leg. No one in my immediate family has had one. Basically a week before I had a cold but felt different. A few days later developed breathing problems which I thought was a respitory illness and being old school tried to work thru it until I basically collapsed at work. I have a follow up with a pulminary doctor but oddly no follow up with a blood doctor so was thinking a hermatologist would be the way to go. Jon

I think a hematologist sounds like a great idea. One of those guys def needs to fully work you up. You on eliquis or xarelto? Maybe Coumadin, but I doubt it.
