Was surprised at line Mark--am a little scared of opposing Singh twice--wide open soft fairways should be right up his alley despite form--however Rose and Garcia no short knockers either.

Outright plays (total stake per play: 1pt)

Geoff Ogilvy to win 25/1 e.w. @ William Hill, BetFred and ToteSport
With finishes of 6th, 4th and 6th in his last three events and just one round over 70 in his last twelve, Ogilvy is clearly hitting form at the profitable end of the season: he now ranks 8th in the FedEx Cup standings. He hasn't played at Cog Hill in the last couple of years, but he was in contention throughout the event in 2004, finishing in the top-5 and that should help him continue with his momentum this week.

Steve Stricker to win 20/1 e.w. @ Paddy Power and Bet365 ['w/o Woods' market]
Momentum is one factor that will keep players at the top of their games at this end of the season - and Stricker has that factor following his win at The Barclays two weeks ago and his top-10 finish last week - another is playing in front of a home crowd. Stricker and Kelly are the Wisconsin natives in this field and both have won on this course in the past - in Stricker's case it was in 1996. That win was a long time ago and so was his previous victory to The Barclays (2001 World Match Play Championship), so while momentum, form and home comforts may ensure he is a feature on the leaderboard this week, I can't see him defeating Tiger if they went head-to-head, so I'll take the shorter odds and the speciality market.

Brandt Snedeker to win 66/1 e.w. @ Paddy Power ['w/o Woods' market]
Snedeker has also won recently - the Wyndham Championship three weeks ago - and has the momentum of good form as that win had been preceded by four top-10 finishes in his previous seven starts. And while he may have finished down the leaderboard last week, he did close with an encouraging 66 on Sunday. His previous appearance on this course resulted in a missed cut, but that was in 2004 and he only turned professional that year. Since then, he has had two good years on the Nationwide Tour and proved that his two victories on that Tour last year were no fluke by winning the Wyndham Championship and currently ranking 14th on the Money List. Take Tiger Woods out of this event and he is certainly capable of beating the best of the rest, so 66/1 in this market looks decent value.

Looks like Dogs found the line.. :weed:
Slocum -140 over Toms
I saw it at -110 and was just prayin the greek would post it. Here is the writeup i did for this on tuesday morning

The time has come. I have gotten a few emails asking when the next play of the year will be. Well Its here!! 6 wins 1 loss and 3 ties on the year on 6+ unit plays.

This play fits all my criteria?s. Slocum has been on point of late. His last few events go 6,22,23,14,23. Toms on the other hand had to wd last week and mc the week before. He is battling disc problems currently. Slocum the last 2 times playing at coghill has a 12th and a 7th so the course suits his eye. Now we have the fed ex cup. This is a trend I caught last week. Slocum is 26th and pretty much assured a position next week. Toms is 31st.. meaning if he doesn?t get off to a hot start, he will lose motivation and probably withdraw since there is no need to play in pain.
Slocum last week was 7th in putting and 2nd in Driving Accuracy. Those are the 2 keys in my opinion to Cog Hill. Back the truck up on this one guys!!!

Looking on at that -115 on Slocum very enviously DTB - didnt even look at any bets until today and missed the good prices. Played the same bet at Pinnacle at -134. Also try Glover over Senden at 8/11 with Hills.

On the outrights, stick with Ogilivy and Scott, which will probably mean them finishing 6 and 7th respectively!

Also like O hair.. Allenby

Adding Els top 10 +100

Check his recent finishes.. then factor in only a 64 player field. Good chance at even money ..

Hey, just dropping by-
Actually backed Heath for outright ew so no reason for me to discourage you - good luck.

BTW the two bombers are in the nationwide event, Tony and Gipper. That'll be fun.
