Agreed! Thought the price has now dropped considerably :(

Further outright play (1.5pts):

Tim Clark to win 33/1 e.w. @ BetInternet (same price at Bet365 and Victor Chandler, but only 3 places)
Didn't expect him to contend after winning last week in South Africa, but he has improved with every round and shot 64 around the host course, PGA West, yesterday. He still has the easiest course to play, Bermuda Dunes, so should close the gap considerably on Joe Ogilvie who will play La Quinta today. He has stated his goals quite clearly in interview this week: his win in South Africa has lifted him into the top-50 in the World Rankings and that enables him to compete in all the majors and WGC events if he stays there and he is determined to do that. He looks set to consolidate that position this week.

2 1/2 strokes
J Haas -110 (+1/2 stroke) over Baird Loss

more props up today--but will let those books rest for a while.
got a slew of em today but like these best--

Heres a couple that look good but usually go route of yesterdays--when they look too good.

@ WSEX
Jacobson -116 (-1/2) over Lewis
Lonard -104 (-1/2) over Langer

Tim Clarke -115 over Couples @ WTTS
Like this match straight up but in addition Couples developed blister on right thumb yesterday and struggled to get to house hitting everything right.

my fav
Rose -105 over Poulter @ Pinn
Poulter a classic claimer stepping up to allowance.
Was trilled to see him fire 8 under yesterday and get enthusiams up--as he has been best fade since Badds.
Prior to yesterday you had to go back to 03 and 30 plus rounds since he had busted the 70's (on pga tour) including Dunes and Tamarisk here----- 2 of easiest courses on tour.

Will join WR and Stan also and add Clark but to place (top 3) 7/1 @ IAS

early rain possibilty and wind could get up in pm making LQ much tougher.

Mick also is playing Bermuda Dunes today but appears he has abandoned his controled swing and more conservative play.
His score on Bermuda Dunes last year was 67 his performance on
finishing course PGA West in 04 was 64-68-- 03> 69-67--not too prolific in final rds especially in light of 5 par 5's which should be his bread and butter.

Round 5 18 hole spreads

1. Duffy Waldorf / Brian Davis -1.5 / 1.5
Buy at 1.5 for 1 unit to be with Waldorf.

2. Jeff SLuman / Peter Jacobsen 1 / 4
Buy at 4 for 1 unit to be with Sluman.

yesterday 2-2
Jacobson -116 (-1/2) over Lewis win
Lonard -104 (-1/2) over Langer loss
Tim Clarke -115 over Couples @ WTTS win
Rose -105 over Poulter @ Pinn loss

Late start today--been up all night watching elections

a couple today
Roberts +103 over Poulter @ Pinn
We see how Poulter fairs without the celeb pin placements

Waldorf -125 over Calc @ WTTS
Calc actually bout even with Waldorf past year until you get to after the cut where Duffy holds 9-2 edge. Calc's go for broke aggressive nature has always proved unproductive on tough pins unless he firing on all cylinders.

In addition both picks have had had better birdie ave on par 3's and 5's which is big factor on this course and both selections rank in top 20 of best players here last 5 years with 3 or more events played--a few notables rank--
Mick 1st
Hass 2nd
Durant 5th
Verplank 6th
Kelly 7th
Leonard 9th

Outrights - FINAL RESULT: 1-3; +0.94pts

Kelly 8th
Haas 23rd
Langer 23rd
Clark 2nd

Good performance from Clark, but Leonard was very impressive in the final round and was a deserved winner. Pity Kelly finished out of the places as he had been in the top-10 for most of the week.

Matchups - FINAL RESULT: 3-0-0; +4.50pts

Haas/Azinger WON by 6
Jacobson/Cejka WON by 11
Haas/Triplett WON by 8

Didn't like too many matchups this week, but a nice sweep on those that made the shortlist.
