Okay I will ask you since Pro is gone for the Holidays. Who negotiated those terrible contracts and why did you give them bonuses? Also, maybe you can tell me how we can feed those who have lost jobs and how taxing the poor will get them to spend more money....... oh, nevermind. Look who I am asking. The jobs went overseas because greedy CEO's know the best way to get exorbitant salaries, huge bonuses, stock options and golden parachutes is to eliminate jobs and increase profits. Fuck the working stiffs as long as I get mine.
Hey, why pay living wages and benefits to middle-class Americans when you can pay slave wages (72 cents an hour and no benefits) to Chinese peasants? Why maintain a plant here in the U.S. where we have labor laws, pollution controls, employer-paid health insurance, unemployment compensation, a minimum wage and a multitude of other workers rights that Americans have fought and died for over the past 150 years, when you can just offshore those jobs to eastern Asia and get a 7 or 8 figure bonus package for doing it?
And guys like you, Pro, defend these wealthy fucksticks while they systematically destroy the middle-class that it took this country two centuries to build. When the middle-class is gone, you Pro, your children and your grandchildren will have no more rights than those Chinese workers do today.
Exactly. It was the middle class that built the houses and roads and schools, fought the wars, paid the taxes, worked in the fields and factories, saved and invested. Have you ever thought about the "tax and spend" criticism? I can't think of a dumber complaint. Should it be tax and save, tax and invest, or tax and gamble? Taxes are a way to raise funding to pay for government provided services. If taxes are meant for something other than "spending", please advise.
