like bolton or not.......like bush or not....the president has every right to appoint a person to the u.n to represent the views of the administration.

bolton may not be well liked but maybe is appointment might be a good thing.......after all the status quo in the u.n. is not working......this organization is corrupt & ineffective.

djv,

what did this guy lie about ?

it is not important if he is well liked.....this is not the boy scouts.

Well when you also have Republicans that did not stand up for him it just surprise me that Bush would do this. He lied about being involved in the CIA matter that Karl R is. And about seeking to have a person that did not work in his department fired. I think with Bush doing it this way it shows lack of support for the guy. He will be a lame duck.

Another example of our spoiled brat rich boy president who has never had to take no for an answer trying to get his way no matter what.

Wonder if he'll cripple any more Boy Scouts today.

If Bolton finds problem with the UN, I would support him even if he was a serial killer. The UN has been a drain and hindrance to the United States since its inception.

I am sure you had the same outrage when Clinton did this multiple times ....he had what 140 recess appointments ...and good for him it didnt bother me one bit that the ultra rich Bill Clinton did exactly as the constitution allowed him to do . Nor would it have bothered me at all if The richest of all the above John Heinz Kerry (I have factories all over the world with just a few token factories in the US, pickle making in mexico shiping back to the US taking our jobs you blame Bush for ) did it as well :mj07:

By the By no more Heinz products in my house !

A guy who lies huh? How many times did Clinton lie DJV??

So I guess it's ok for your democratic president or your most recent presidential candidate to lie, but it's a different story if it's John Bolton huh? You democrats are pathetic.

John Kerry lied about WMD's. Another liar. Same with Hillary, Ted Kennedy, Albright, Daschle, Burger Gore, Pelosi etc. etc.

This is why I cannot stomach Madjacks very often. You liberals are total hipocrites.

NICE THREAD.

What does Clinton, or recess appointments have to do with this thread? Christ, you guys make up arguments that aren't even there.

DJV didn't say anything about the way he was appointed, he was commenting on the man himself.

Dipshits? ok so it's back to namecalling now? Nice argument. :mj07: I'd rather buy my ketchup from the U.S. then some company like Heinz who moved most of their production overseas...but that's just me...I'm a patriot.

Also, Kosar that's all I have heard from the leftists is them complaining that the president "misused his power" and "took advantage of his power". What do you live in a cave? Don't give us your bullshit.

I don't remember anything about blame. I know according to the law now 40 years later. We were all driving around drunk in the 60 & 70's. Kennedy was not found anything but dumb.

Yeah, of course it was ok Fred. This is the mind of today's liberal. If you're a liberal, it's ok to act dumb.

I can't believe djv has the balls to try and defend Ted Kennedy. Stick with the angry, desperate and rapidly sinking democratic party djv, you are a perfect fit. BANKRUPT ON VALUES
