Well were do I start. First lets start were these teams are the best at D. Number 2 an3 they are great against the run, pass and causing turnovers. There are 3 things that i see as distinct advantages for The horns 1) there run d is unbelievable they have had 56 run tackles for a loss there lbs are hybrid backers NFL prototYpe that get up field fast nd do not miss tackles-long with the thomas saety they have there run d is one of the best ive seen in a while-Albam must average 4-5 yards a carry to be successful-against a run d that gives up 2 yards 2)The d ends Acho and houston are nfl first rounders that get upfield fast dont make mistakes and just cause havoc both on rund and especilly the pass-well unlike Mccoy who can handle the pressure the frosh qb has shown a couple times especially against Tennesee if you knock him down or put him in 3rd and long with this pss rush-Best in the country he will hve a tough time of it. 3) Muschcamp for Texas know saban and his tendencies in alot of situations-I also think Williams shuts down julio jones to few catches

Alabama has a great d but they also played against some weak mistake prone Qbs -But how will mccoy handle his reads and pressure- The kid is cool as cucumber and the top qb nfl wise in college he will make some big plays.

Special teams both have good kickers and punters- but bama is ranked 117th in kick coveage and bama is ranked 13th meanwhile they have the #2 return man in the country returning kicks. Big disparity

TEXAS IS 26-1 FOR A REASON THERE LAST 2 YEARS FOR A REASON - Brown has these kids practice in full pds and works them hard -he changed this 5 years ago and has 5-0 record in bowls. including 3 BCS GAMES and 1 championship-

Texas and bama d are awesome but whos d will effect the other team more -i say Texas for sure- If texas slows down the rushing attack they win this going away if they dont and bm gets lets say 170 on the ground i think texas wins by 7.

Know the intangables this line opened at 4.5 and got hit hard by big money -meanwhile volume wise smaller wagers are coming in on bama i hit it at 4.5 and hit again at 4 and a few friends who i consider shrps are all maxed on Texas- Before the sec championship and big 12 champ the line on these 2 were -1 _LINE VALUE- WEll I have this line at -3 -Texas has motto this Week Be humble earn respect- well they have mine.
Awesome Bro! Hope it goes as scripted for you, definitely was well thought out angles. GL

No worries - can't cap stuff like that.....

I'm just shocked that a program as prestigous as TX doesn't have a backup QB.....

Unreal...... they'd be better off running wildcat all game - especially since they don't let the kid thrown until 3rd and 15th each series

Sorry?!!! You're 35-5 or whatever, it takes something like this to possibly end a streak. I'm the one that is sorry thinking I could buck your streak....:scared

you'll make this up and then some...:SIB

Great capping Thunder. From my perspective Texas was indeed the "right side" but you can never plan for a key player leaving a game on the first possession. I was quite surprised when Texas actually pulled within 3 late in the game but the freshman just could not handle it. I don't blame him because this was a horrible situation to be in, but how does TX not have an experienced backup?

Anyway, for what it's worth, you capped it well.

I think Gilbert settled down nicely in the second half and looked good. He had a lot of drops by his receivers and his offensive line HAS TO MAKE SURE HE IS PROTECTED especially HIS BLINDSIDE when your endzone is right behind you!!!

Eitherway, the kid did damn good IMO considering that he probably thought he had 0% chance of getting into that game when he went to the stadium last night.

GREAT SEASON THUNDER!! Thanks for sharing!!!
