Is this actually a legitimate "fight" in any sense of the word?

Not really, I think a great chance for M. to make some money and an "easy" fight for W. that is running out of opponents...

I think there will be a KO in the fight the question is more aoubt WHEN not IF it happens.

Just my 2 cents.

Totally agree, a KO is imminent. Just trying to work out a betting plan here. Mormeck hasn't fought in a VERY long tine; last outing Dec 2, 2010. What, about 15 months? He is 39 and has to work to keeps the lights on like everyone else. Also Haye knocked him out. Klits, for all his robotic mannerisms, can crack. Mormeck packs a tight defense, but likes to come in to bully his opponents; his undoing if he tries that here. And Klist might even have residual anger after the fiasco with his bro and Chisora, so he might unleash his fury on Mormeck.

Mormeck really is Klitschkos worst opponent in quite a long time.

IMO the only question here is, what Wladimirs mindset will be for the fight!

He could probably end this fight in round 2 or 3, but might want to give the fans a show and RTL some time to play their commercials!

Here lies the danger, Under 6.5 could be close...even though Wladimir will probably have to pace himself...

I feel Klits paces himself as par for the course. He jabs, jabs, jabs, even IF he could unleash a monster right and end it. It seems to just be his MO. Maybe we can find something more lucrative. And in case anyone is curious, I made some rounds today, and the Vegas lines on many of the scheduled fights mirror the off shores numbers. No advantage to being close to Vegas sport books anymore. Generic lines all the way.

Round prop; Klits/Mormeck

Round prop; Klits/Mormeck

So far a prop at 5Dimes that may offer some value is: Klitschko wins in rounds 7-12+160. Maybe with Mormeck's peek a boo style of boxing, he may elude Klits for a while, but he can run but not hide forever.

Plays

W. in some parlays
Fight not the distance -400 and several other under later rounds plays at -300 to -165
Draw at ridiculus high odds

Regarding the other fights, I am not finally decided yet... spent some $ on Matt Skelton v Tom Dallas as I think the fight could be very close, despite the fact both figthers are far beyond their best days.

Can't find much to play this weekend. Lots of lines are crazy, unless you have a good read on an underdog somewhere. So far I am on Klitschko/wins in rounds 7-12+151(now). Mormeck is on weight and Klitschko has gone some rounds last 3 times out. There is some value there(I hope!). Nothing as nice as last week with Broner/Alexander fights. Every day is not Christmas I guess.

Ed Paredes and Joan Guzman should both win inside... the questions is if the under / over hits.

For me its just a small play on both figths inside.

Ola Afolabi 198.2 vs Valery Brudov 186.1

What do you think about this fight? Ola is priced an expesive favorite from my point of view, but maybe there is some value in the under/over... :0corn
