Clottey wll get robbed six ways to sunday if he somehow beats Pacs ass. Ouma, Tackie, Clottey ...always seem to get the mag light shoved up their asses on the scorecards.

Oh man!! Ouma gets the shaft on the scorecards. No problem with Mart winning, no problem at all since I took him big straight up....but I don't like these hosings.

I have always liked Ouma as a fighter, and like him even more after tonight. Tough as nails. Ghost, your first inclination on this fight was right. No way Mart was gonna stop a focused Ouma

I don't think controversy will enter into that fight.

Funeka vs Joan Guzman was bigger robbery tho , that was SO WRONG , especially considering Funeka already got robbed against Nate Campbell in the fight before . There is just NO WAY to win those fights unless you KO the home boy

The fight started??? My "live tv" coverage is about 5 mins behind. Would you mind posting updates on the other thread Brother? Thx man

Woops...didn't see that until now. Lot's goin' on with 2 fights, trying to post updates, etc.

I think starting a new thread for RBR's is definitely the way to go.,, from now on will do.

So what the f happened in the Rubio fight anyway. Haven't even had a chance to look here.

Kudo's to Ouma

Kudo's to Ouma

I thought he was shot to pieces but I was way wrong. What a chapter to add on to the Ouma story if he can be a player again after this.

No probs...I dont think anybody saw the thread anyway...congrats on the W. That had to be VERY tough watching that. I know I would have jumped on the odds you got and would have shat my pants. I think Ghost pegged this one the best as he didn't give Vanes much of a shot at getting Ouma out of there. I was fortunate to get + odds on both sides of the over/under to net a nice dinner tomorrow night. Congrats again Brother:toast: :toast: :toast:

Check out Fightnews description of the Ouma fight!!! WTF!! This really frosts my ass you see, because many because don't get to see the fight. They're gonna consult fightnews and walk away thinking this BS. Best performance to date? WTF!! Does top rank own fightnews or what?

Martirosian defeats Ouma

In a good action bout, unbeaten super welterweight contender Vanes Martirosian (27-0, 17 KOs) won a ten round unanimous decision over former world champion Kassim Ouma (26-7, 18 KOs) on Saturday night at the Hard Rock Hotel-Casino in Las Vegas. It was Martirosian?s best performance to date as he sharply landed flush shots against the ever advancing Ouma in every round. Ouma scored a flash knockdown in round nine, and picked up the pace after round six, but it was too little too late. Martirosian prevailed by scores of 97-92, 97-93, 97-93 to retain his NABF/NABO belts. The bout headlined the debut telecast of the new ?Top Rank LIVE? boxing series seen on Fox Sports Net/Fox Sports Espanol.

Heads up.

Anyone that bet the TOTAL in the RUBIO fight will have to wait untill 2mmrow for the result to be graded.

Rubio will be graded the winner tonight, but again there is confusion with the end time.

If it was completed with 1:32 left in Round 9 or 1:32 expired in Round 9.

I have requested and should have the tape or WBC's official end time by 1 pm est
2mmrow/sunday at the very latest so please be patient.

(I believe it went OVER, BUT have to wait to be certain and get an official result.)

Thank you and have a good night.

I usually happen to be on your guys side when when I add my scorecards but last two weeks I am closer to judges.
I had Karmazin fight 85:85 at the time of stoppage and I managed to give 7 rounds to Vanes :)
I had the fight 96:93 Vanes. I gave all the close rounds to him and 3 rounds that went Ouma way were not debatable (5th, 6th and 10-8 round). There were 3 rounds that I could as easily give to Ouma beacuse they were that close. Like 9th round which was slightly Ouma for me until final 20 secs when the best punches of the round were landed and mostly by Vanes. I liked his clean punches more through the fight and that is probably subjective. Also, I guess watching the internet stream is not like sitting by the ring and in close fights that can make the difference. It is matter of taste this whole scoring the fight thing. In most sports you can add the points at the end and have clear winner. To bad boxing is not that way but it isn't. We don't have to have "this can happen only in boxing" type of reaction after every close fight.
Didn't write this to start the argument, just to show I saw things differently last two weeks. Cintron-Martinez and Funeka-Guzman were robberies, this was a fight which could go ether way.
