Not sure what to make of this one. Ramos seems to have some decent tools but I'm not sure he has what it takes as a fighter. He fights very passively and simply doesn't let his hands go enough. Rigondeaux isn't a raging bull either, especially later on in a fight if he feels he's ahead on the cards (re Cordoba bout). But he is the more aggressive fighter here and bigger puncher. Read a few years ago Rigondeaux was dropped by Ramos in sparring. Not something to get to excited about I suppose but interesting. Rigondeaux will fight his first pro fight against a guy with the hand speed and general quickness similar to what he possesses.
Southpaw v orthodox so likely get a few head clashes, another factor in the fight potentially not going the distance. In his fight with Shimoda head clashes were occurring with frequency, although Shimoda was always moving forward and semi pressuring Ramos.
Tough call, Rigo at -200/-250 might have been worth a small bet but at current levels not worth it. No clue how this plays out, both guys put a premium on not getting hit. But I do suspect both guys don't have iron chins. 5d props has 14-1 on Ramos inside, small value bet will see me through this main event.
