Added a few more plays above...

Waiting for the weigh-ins before I play the Toney-Peters fight, might not play it at all...other than the Draw

Also looking at another possible play, back later...

I also looked at the Peterson-Gallardo fight and I don't see the under either? Peterson has, what, 9 or so whacks? Gallardo could even win possibly. Don't know much about Hanshaw-Mendy except their records, but it also seems close. Don't remember last time I bet a fight. Probably when I got burnt on a round prop!

I did some checking and the Gallardo-Reynolds fight was stopped on a cut that was caused by a headbutt, the ref was clueless and said the cut was caused by a punch, but the video replay clearly showed it was caused by a headbutt.

After further research, I found out that while Arnaoutis was getting the better of Gallardo in the 3rd round, part of the reason the ref stopped the fight was b/c Gallardo had suffered a cut caused by a headbutt and it was bleeding badly.

All things considered...(Peterson's lack of punching power and Gallardo's decent chin at 140) I think the Over 5.5 at +130 has a very good chance of cashing.

Well, I could make up some bullshit, or just be honest and say I f**cked up! I was tailing your action and made a boo-boo. As they say, of all the things I lost, I miss my mind the most.

lampley just got locked-up....lol..something to do with domestic abuse....and intimidating a witness.....

maybe his old lady doesn`t listen.....

anywho, that over in the rivera/simms fight looks pretty good(simms has been off since 2004...that`s not good)........and i`m leaning hanshaw to do enough....maybe a small parlay...

the draw prop in toney/peter is a must...

what`s the word on toney`s weight?....billy blanks whip that tub of goo into shape?....

did toney actually tow the line on his diet over the holidays?....seems a stretch...

the weigh-in will be the key....

from fightnews.com

Samuel Peter outweighed James Toney by 15 pounds for their SHOWTIME-televised rematch on Saturday night at the Seminole Hard Rock LIVE Arena in Hollywood, FL. Toney weighed in first at 234, one pound more than the first fight, although his body looked to be in much better shape. Peter scaled in at 249, eight pounds less than in their first fight. The Peter camp selected Reyes gloves, while the Toney group selected Everlast.

thanks...just saw it......from the pics i saw(very dark),toney looks like he actually has pecs....he only looked that way when he was on steroids.....even as a middleweight his body always looked soft...

and the best he`s looked in a fight (in the last 4 or 5 years) was when he was on the `roids.....

a pound heavier,but proportioned better?.....using something?...obviously,he must have been training...or something...

i`ll bite..toney +110 small..many thought he did enough the first time....last chance.....small hedge on peter by ko/tko/dq +371...draw for fun at +1600...

at some point,it`s going to be over for toney...losing to rahman(he lost that fight)and just hanging with a raw peter and looking fat and sloppy in those fights,i`m probably crazy taking the chance.....

but, these are small...i need a little action after the exhileration of another tito ortiz humiliation...i can afford to give back some liddell money,thankfully...

a lean on the rivera/simms fight...but,so many questions in this one, it`s not worth putting it up on the forum....

i will say that you have some advantages going both ways.....as usual..

simms....height/naturally bigger/lefty/amateur background...rivera`s loss to lefty luis collazo...undefeated mentality.....i wish i had photos of the weigh-in.....will this size difference, coupled with rivera`s style make him perfect for simms? ...though i heard he was very listless in his last fight with mckart(a snoozer).

rivera....toughness/stamina and doggedness...a better technician than i originally thought/he`s the champ/and last but not least, simms` age coupled with his inactivity...who knows how that will affect a guy pushing 36....

we have so little to go by on simms....his resume is ridiculously weak...a win vs over the hill bronco mckart and the fluke k.o. over garcia.....otherwise,zilch....

Toney ? Peter.

I don?t know who won their first fight, but I do know that Peter hurt Toney a couple of times, and I do know that Toney has been slipping constantly since moving up to heavyweight. I don?t think Billy Banks will turn the tide.

I play Peter by KO, I play it small/medium

Rivera ? Simms

Simms is a really good fighter, Rivera is not. Even with the layoff and the age, Simms should handle Rivera with ?ease?.

I play Simms, I play it medium

Hanshaw ? Mendy

What a poor tournament this has been, and in the final, I don?t see a champion. Hanshaw will never get anywhere, he has no mind. I guess Hanshaw will be favoured by the judges, but I can?t put money on a clown like him. Mendy is Mendy, nothing great, but he has a few tricks in the ring, and he can change tactics.

I play Mendy, I play it small

Toney will school peter again.

Bet on toney. have u guys seen his weigh in pic, he looks better.

Peter got the tendency to get frustrated and run out of idea. Toney can get in to his head and throw combos and get out. You also got to consider the gift decision peter got the last fight. the judges are in scrutiny after that fight and most likely watch how toney ducks those punches and counter. Unlike the last fight, where the judges rewarded peter for throwing but not landing

This is a guarantee fight for Toney.

Bet on toney.

i`ve had some interaction with simms` mgr kurt on several boxing forums...a very nice fellow, even though he`s an attorney........we won`t hold that against him...lol

but, given his resume`,how can you be sure that he`s "a really good fighter"?.....the amateur background?.....the wins over garcia(fluke)and old, shot mckart?.....

he`s never been in a balls to the wall 12 round pro fight vs a guy as mentally and physically tough as rivera....

he may very well win....he may be to big or the lefty stance may give rivera trouble as collazo`s did...and that layoff...whoa.....

but,i`m just not sure enough to put money on it........

btw...i agree that i think simms` boxer/puncher style will be much tougher than a mannequin like garcia`s was....

no play for me....as should be the toney play...lol..to many ????

the over`s worth a look,though....

Peterson-Gallardo easily went Over 5.5 rounds

A very nice +130 winner to kick off the new season

As posted at boxrec and the other forum, I played the Peterson-Garza Under 9.5 -130 before the fight went off...easy winner

I should've posted it here, but it was a very late play, fight was less than 30 mintes away when I played it...sorry

Santa Cruz won by 10 round UD

I'm baffled, Arceo was stopped by Shamir Reyes (who was stepping up from 130) in the 1st round. In the very next fight he was stopped by Rustam Nugaev in the 6th round. All reports painted Arceo as a brawler and Cruz can punch and loves to mix it up. Oh well, thats why I hate playing Unders, even at +money
