Vasquez TKO 11

UNDER 9.5 misses mostly due to Vasquez' fucking shoes....man these props are just exhausting to cap....some things you just can't alot for....The guy was slipping all over the ring

You know, I just dont understand that shit. Over the yrs Ive seen itr countless times. Selecting boxing shoes isn't exactly rocket science. It's inexcusable for a corner to allow that to happen. It's a world title fight and the guy is slipping around like it's the fvcking ice capades. Even though they had the wrong shoes, IMPROVISE just a smidgeon and correct the fvcking problem. Jesus, put some goddamned bubble gum on the soles if you have to. If you can't get traction then you simply aren't the same fighter. I can understand this sort of thing in a ham & egg club fight but not at this level

Well, broke about even for the week, and not pleased. Parlays came thru, but Vasquez not getting him out in time set me right back. Next week slow too.

I didnt watch the Kltschko fight, but from reading your posts, I can get a pretty clear picture!

I made some small plays on the fight to go over 4,5 / 6 and 7 rounds, and I also had some money on Vitaly 10-12 and (unfortunately not too much) some on Vitaly WPTS, though I expected this fight fight to be stopped somewhere in the second part of the fight.

Its sad to see really, because these are the fights where a fighter really gets brain damaged...and for no reason.

From a betting standpoint its also not good, because it just looks like fighers are pulled out ramdomly!

I'm not exactly happy either.
Missed some longshots (Bute round 8, Vitaly 10-12, Hughes draw)....

Vazquez surprised me as well!

Same for me... a small win for the week. If the Draw or Vazquez under would have be a win, it would have been a very good week.

But anyway we get then next week :toast:

Briggs' corner should be arrested for assisted manslaughter

According to boxingscene-

Briggs remains in intensive care as of Sunday. It has been confirmed that he suffered a concussion and multiple fractures in the face including under both eyes. It was feared that he had bleeding on the brain but fortunately that wasn't the case. Furthermore the doctor wanted to stop it after rd10 but the ref had the final say.

Unfvckingbelievable. Since when does a ref have the final say over the doctor??? It was disgusting what we all watched. I'm no fan of Briggs but I don't enjoy watching anybody get pummeled rd after rd after rd. He took so many hard rights that my face feels swollen today. Don't these fvcking people realize that people do get killed in the ring.

Well this was the most predictable thing in the world

Referee Ian John Lewis' comments make me sick:

Referee Ian John-Lewis, who has received criticism for not stopping the fight, said he was within ?one or two shots? of stopping it. ?It was a heavyweight world championship,? he said. ?These are tough guys and as long as a man fights back, you have to give him a chance.?

When the fuck was he fighting back ? All I saw was Briggs getting his brain smashed in for 12 rounds. I mean look at the scorecards - the ref and the corner were completely incompetent. That was scary to watch.

How does the boxing community continue to let things like this happen? Just disgusting.
