"the bunker"
he just got robbed of a knockdown by lawrence cole, one of the most despicable refs in the game...

and the holding?.....he did nothing...

lacy will have to decapitate taylor to win......

with his history, how does cole merit this fight?...

Taylor is carrying his former room mate; all the while risking to get decapitated.

This is professional boxing at the highest level. Hundreds of millions of dollars are at stake here and the result has lasting and rippling effects for all parties. You have to finish a weakened opponent, he can be your friend tomorrow. You can't risk your career, as well as that of your promoter/manager/trainer and the welfare of your family trying to be a nice guy. I'll always remember Spinks-Judah 2, where the Showtime commentator was yelling "What is Zab doing? Finish him! There are hundreds of millions at stake!". Zab showed compassion and looked to the ref, but in the moment, it's your job as a professional to defeat your opponent. It's the refs job to stop it, not yours.

Sour ending to a good weekend, two KOs that should have happened but didn't.

Congrats to anyone who won on the Cintron and Taylor bouts. Very good weekend overall, thanks to all contributors!

"The Man" Evan is 0 for 5 on the week. He missed the over on spoon by 2 seconds. He is picking JT ITD...should I bet the house on Lacy now???

For the record I think JT gets a late rd stoppage but now I'm a bit nervous.

Thx for the updates on KC Ghost

Make that 0 for 6, after the worst streak I had seen about a month ago. Time to completely rethink strategy or try a different sport.

Frustrating to have two carry jobs in the space of 8 days ( joe and jermaine), that could have just as easily turned out huge profits.

Nonethless, a magnificient week.

Make that 0 to 7. But when you are down its always rain shit. He had the over 7 and a half in the witherspoon fight. Time of stoppage 1 :29 round 8, i mean that hurts.
Anyways i cant blame him i played different bets but my wekend results looks pretty much as horrible as his. Also i didnt lose nearly as much as he but i didnt win on fucking bet besides Bika inside this weekend and i tried a lot.
Even Captain America let me down.
Gotta take it with a sense of humor i guess.
Grats to all who made money this weekend.
Well done and sleep well. I will because its 6 30 in the morning right now.

Not to add fuel to the fire, but isn't it curious Evans managed to get 15 correct predictions out of 18 BEFORE going online, enabling him to advertise huge profits ??

I won 550 on the week and end up a little disappointed

Evan 0 for 6??? I think his backers may want to think about the stock market instead.

What was the final result of Lesner/Coutour? thx

congrats to the taylor guys.:toast: .

.i thought at +425 that lacy had a puncher`s chance...

but,he really didn`t ....no snap in most of those shots...

/and i still hate cole...pulling arms away instead of clean breaking the guys...could have been more action if not for the excessive clinching....

Between boxing and UFC I got a lot of the fights correct and still ended up down a bundle.
I can't complain, this is my first losing week in 4 weeks.

I can't believe Lacy's eyes held up for 12 rounds.

OH WELL!! A lot of tasty fights next week.

Not only that, but I believe they just happened to be large wagers- 10% and higher to get the bankroll up there before going live and now it's 1-2.5%... know someone who met this dude and with the way he treated my bud, essentially discarding him when he couldn't use him for personal gain...... karma's a bitch and the guy is getting exactly what he deserves. I understand there are bad streaks but he just started to bounce back from a 1 for 14 streak not long ago... :scared. Check out his car salesman video on his homepage.

it`s been my experience that, for the most part,pay-fer touts are pay-fer touts...regardless of the sport...like asking if hairballs are worse than barf...

never trusted em....don`t like em...

Really, does anyone actually think any one TOUT spends more time/does more research than, collectively, all of the posters here? I've said it before, but I guess it's worth repeating. A careful perusal of the posts found here on a regular basis is better, by leaps and bounds, than anything else out there, paid or otherwise. :mj12: on touts!

I said this a long time ago about Evan. I found it funny that the percentage he bet was much bigger to build his bankroll before he posted his results and I got shit upon for my opinion on "The Man".

My point has alway's been, that the posters on this forum are as good or better than him.

I have followed boxing since early childhood. I was considered strange growing up in Scotland because I could not give 2 shits about soccer and was a boxing addict.
When I left Scotland for Canada, I left behind more than 30, 8 hour, video tapes with fights from the early years up to modern years of boxing.

This is why it would piss me off no end when guys from some of the boxing forums would give me shit as though my opinion was not worth shit compared to the mighty Evan's.

Evan knows his stuff when it comes to boxing but so do many others on THIS forum.

THIS forum is the place to be if you want to win money on fights and it's FREE :mj07:

Nice to hear that some folowed my tip on the Dimitrenko fight,..I lost on Bundrage and won on Bika...I had quite some money on Amidu..I'm actually pretty shocked that he was stopped, but it seems as though that was a premature stoppage, I also lost on Haye and missed the over unders of Lacy and Withersppon, the latter by a second or two...I won on Witherspoon and I had the over right for the St. Clair fight..I also couldnt resist some dog bets, Krasniqui @+500....overall, it was a pretty bad week for me...

Evan lost about 9,5 units and went 6-0 this weekend, thats horrible...again.

I think Barret was worth a shot given Hayes chin...tough luck on the Bundrage and Witherspoon fight, but Manfredo really was a bad pick...

You are right, if you want to make some money, this forum is the place to be! :toast:
