Edgar Sosa vs. Masafumi Okubo

Edgar Sosa vs. Masafumi Okubo

It's a UD for Sosa, I think announcer said 120-108, 120-110, 119-109. Couldn't make out the Spanish too well.

118-110, sorry, I realized 120-110 makes no sense.

RESULT

RAUL MARTINEZ SD12 RODRIGO GUERRERO

I watched this fight and Guerrero got robbed! He beat Martinez from pillar to post, cut him. Martinez was literally running away from him, straight backwards, at the end of round 10. Guerrero was more active, effective, and tenacious. Straight up robbery there.

Well, I got Martinez right, and Sosa did his thing, but overall showing a loss for the weekend, due to three split decision losses: Funes, Savi, and R.Guerrero. If even one of those splits had gone the other way, it would have been a profitable weekend. Slightly tough to swallow. I watched both the Funes and Guerrero fights and thought both won...of course I am biased. Truly, Funes could have gone either way. Guerrero kicked the shit out of Martinez though, and I'm pissed about that one.

Can anyone tell me anything about the Savi-Garza fight. Comments said it was a war, but I'd like to hear a little more if anyone's got any info.

Congrats Romi and Ghost on your Stieg/Sykes win! Sounds like you had to earn it with Stieg.

On to better stuff next weekend.

What a shot by Martinez!!!

Savi vs. Garza wasn't much about defense, just two guys plain hitting each other. I think at one point Garza looked wobbled, but he was def. winning the fight. Only tuned in for the second half of the fight. Savi was just winging shots Mtagwa style often.

Bailed out

Bailed out

The overall impression I got from the board was to jump ship away from Pwill, and I did. WHEW!!! Mostly it was the comment about Williams looking at a fight with Pac-man. That did it. And other opinions also. Kudos to all the Martinez backers and again, thanx to all for bailing my butt out on this one.:0074

Wow, what a vicious ko!!

Williams never saw the punch coming...and thats pretty much the story of his career!!!

He has great workrate and he used to have a great chin, but thats pretty much it!
