Crasy weekend...

I did lose some money on AA, Kat and Bika but could recover all of it due to some live betting, Berto by Ko, some over bets and my personal champ: Jason Litzau who turned the weekend from a mid loss into a small win =)

Lets get them next week. :toast:

Cheers

"the bunker"
Yep....strings would have been nice.....this fucking Jason Litzau slurs every word....yet the last 2 fights has cost me half a car......far surpassing kermit cintron as my CURSED fighter...This guy is going to put me in the poor house....one slurred word at a time.....

i know i didn`t pay much attention to the weight issues caballero had...actually didn`t pay much attention to the fight, given the odds...

stupid on my part...but who`da thunk that a guy with that body type would struggle with weight MOVING UP two weight classes...he fought like he MOVED DOWN two weight classes..you`d think he`s be much stronger and resilient not killing himself to make super bantam....total lack of preparation......

don`t beat yourself up,dude...not sure litzau got you as much as a caballero who looked like he thought he could throw his jock in the ring and walk out with a W.....

that was a disgraceful performance..

lots of mma coming up the next few weeks....we`ll get em...:toast:

Thongie, that photo makes me want to throw up.
Litzau by decision was +1850 at dimes.

Someone at boxrec asked in a thread if it is the biggest upset of the boxing year - I think oddswise it is.

Last time a plus winner was that high was Salgado over Linares last year (I think - only doing this by memory).

Litzau made 50k last night - He will make double that I imagine for another HBO date. That goes a long way in Minnesota.

Caballero, on the otherhand - with his cocky, dismissive ring behavior and lack of preparation - probably pissed away the biggest paycheck of his career (JuanMa, Gamboa, etc).

I was ringside the night Caballero whipped Ponce
He was the underdog that night, and it was a WAR (just like you remember it).

He was BOMBING on Ponce for 12 rounds. He was a starving, motivated fighter back then. Hard to believe that was the same guy last night.

Now, he has become a spoiled brat who runs his mouth about JuanMa every interview - Celestino thought he could just show up and get the decision.

Pompous, lazy ass.

Larry Merchant gives Caballero Two Thumbs Down

Larry Merchant gives Caballero Two Thumbs Down

Anyone else catch Merchant's response to Dibella's crying about the Caballero decision? Classic Larry.

For Ghost and other who likes her :mj06:
She gets on my nerves to much to like her but that's probably because I always bet against her guy.

Sleepless nights

Sleepless nights

Got me sifting through last weekend's thread again, and another low-key upset came to mind: Danny Garcia knocking out not so Mighty Mike Arnaoutis. I don't remember the odds, but I vaguely remember Garcia being a huge underdog
