Regarding the Bute fight, I feel like 90% of the time a result seems as logical as Bute by decision, IT NEVER HAPPENS. So funny - only in boxing, I swear.

Everyone and their mother was on Bute by decision, and so, of course, he scores the KO.

In hindsight, Andrade never made a fight easy. He even ate leather in his wins against Mack and Steiglitz. And Kessler straight put it on him all night long. The punches caught up with him tonight.

I've just read on eastside that Bute couldn't go to the body of Andrade in the first fight because he was wearing a protector placed very high.

Bute's camp made sure it wasn't going to be the case again, and prepared accordingly.

Lucian is a damn good boxer, i wish him the very best (we're compatriotes)

Rafal Jackiewicz -140 - Small-WIN

Barker vs. Elcock Under 8.5 -110 - Small-CANCELLED

Funeka vs. Guzman Over 11.5 -130 - Large-WIN

Koki Kameda -200 -Medium -WIN

Lucian Bute by Decision - Didin't bet this b/c terrible odds.

Bet 2 Parlay instead with Bute-365 +Guzman -240 (-124)- Medium- WIN (but only at -365 so SMALL WIN)

4-0! with 2 small, 1 medium and 1 large. (by the way if any of you guys are curious small is 1 unit, medium 3 units and large is 5 units)

Lets do it again next week Guys! :)

Yep, Kameda won

Yep, Kameda won

Jost got it... it seems to be that KOKI KAMEDA won via unanimous decision

Kameda boxes beautifully, wins a unanimous decision... didn't get the final scores but Koki was up on cards after eight rounds on open scoring and going strong....

What a weird week!

Bute knocks out Andrad in 4! :scared
It doesnt happen very often, but I certainly didnt see this one coming. Apparently Andrade's punch resistance severyl deteriorated since their first fight...
I hate things like that, why would he lose his chin overnight!?

Molina isnt just extented over the whole 10 round distance but actually loses....

And Funeka gets robbed really bad!! (the guys who scored this fight in another forum gave Guzman only 2 or 3 rounds).

I think I'm also done with betting Evans picks. He's having a pretty bad year!

After a few rounds I muted the sound to as low as I could get it without watching in silence, as I thought the commentary was getting too one-sided... Funeka was unlucky, sure, but he lost the first two rounds clearly and I thought he faded/coasted in the last two rounds and let Guzman come back into it. ... If you give Guzman the first two rounds and the last two (plausible scoring, IMO) that leaves 8 rounds ... Harold L. gave Guzman the 7th (agreed) which leaves seven rounds. If a judge gives just one of those seven rounds to Guzman (a blown round, a so-called sympathy round, whatever), you get a draw. I'm not defending the decision, I had Funeka in front, but I can see how it could happen. As I often say, when a fight goes to the cards you never know how the judges will have it. Also, I like a fighter to finish strong, and Funeka seemed, to me, to take his foot off the gas in the last two rounds, a bit like Clottey vs Cotto. Just some thoughts at 5:17 a.m. on the West Coast, still buzzing over Kameda-Naito.

I'm not convinced he lost his chin Z...he recovered just fine from that brutal left to the jaw. I think Bute figured out he wasn't going to stop him to the head, so he put in that beautiful body shot. He also hurt Zuniga very bad to the body... Bute is looking grand these days.

Bute has always looked good, but you are right he seems to be getting better. :)

So, let me be the last to say... WTF!!! :scared

Not only does Molina not get the KO, but loses the fight! Geez, man! I lost my internet connection last night, and was out for good part of today. Went out just after Bute KO. I needed Molina to win for a good week, and the UNDER for an excellent one.... Not to be!

Another difficult week... movin' on. It's last stand time!
