I am on Angulo too :toast:

btw. as already mentioned, dont give me all the credit; it belongs to my best buddy Zerwass too!
Great capper:0074

Good luck to the crew for the rest of the night. I am off.

Lets hope Bute, Angulo, Quil. and Gauthier can make it happen :0corn

Cheers

oh man totally underestimated Burns and/or overestimated Katsidis. Total boxing clinic from Burns, Katsidis really exposed for his one dimensional fighting. Do have to say Burns held a lot and the ref, as expected, was totally useless...maybe on purpose.

Trying Teron +350 over Cote for a smaller wager to add to Angulo and Gauthier. Cote stepping into the ring with a real fighter for the first time and I'm not sure he should be commanding this sort of line. I suppose if you factor in he'll have the cards in his pocket then maybe it makes some sense but I still think there is some value in Teron. Teron much more experienced and doesn't look too bad to me, seems to let his hands go a bit too and has some pop so we'll see how Cote's chin is. Cote light on his feet and has an explosive right hand but not sure how much else he offers. Doesn't seem to throw a lot of combinations and his defense is really a unknown with the soft opposition.

gl to all 2nite.

argh Molitor pulls out a SD win. Didn't see it so don't know how it went. Disappointing though with scoring being awfully tight. Had Ossie Duran last week as well a SD loss. Tough when you got big odds, oh well.

*found these couple tweets, not liking this if true...

"Steve Molitor just got a GIFT of a decision. I feel for Guathier..."

"Steve Molitor just got an absolute gift decision. One of the worst scorecards I've seen in a while!"

i just remember bam bam rios beating teron like a baby seal

total set-up.......it was nice to see the showtime crew finally asking questions regarding bute`s resume...the guy might be very good...but how the hell would anybody know?.....

he`s almost as protected as paul spadafora...

guess i was watching a different fight than the showtime crew......i saw two uber-conservative guys basically sparring.....

very few chances taken...very few big punches landed...very few thrown...everyting looked pawing to me....

neither guy terribly marked up......

and to say that johnson was ready to go in the 12th?....:142smilie ..that` was laughable...

johnson looked tired as hell...the guy`s 42 and cut to 168.......

terrible fight,imo.....glad the lsu/alabama game is on....

i love these boxing storylines

there's always resurrection

angulo will be back,

he looked bored and not intense before the fight

he was doomed

+280 now....you know what angulo`s gonna do...he`s gonna try and walk kirkland down....

maybe the lefty stance gives angulo problems?...maybe he walks into some serious shots or gets cut up?....he`s a face-fighter...

might just grab a little kirkland and wait for a hedge prop...

have to admit those odds are wider than i figured they`d be...

oh what could have been.... :142smilie

i had angulo parred with terry etim in the ufc to drag the odds under 2-1...also had some under 7.5....but that didn`t help much...

not sure about angulo....i read too much after liking kirkland in the beginning......i didn`t read too much into the ishida stoppage...it was the other knockdown he suffered and getting stunned in yet another fight vs a journeyman......

i noticed when kirkland took off his robe that he looked different...he was softer before...check youtube...it`s noticable....obviously,ann wolf was the missing link...

what`s really disappointing is that angulo is a tough pug....real tough...but he`s still a pug...another andrade....verrry slow...verrry methodical.....

that why i initially like kirkland...the speed...and the lefty stance...

imo, angulo won`t be the same again....once you`ve taken that kind of beating and you`re limited to begin with, you`re not likely to stay the same....his resislience was his linchpin......

after that beating,he won`t be as tough.....but he`ll still be every bit as slow and ponderous....

i`ll be kicking myslf for a long time after this one....

great job thongie...i`ll never go against my initial gut again...

that's the thing, if i were to watch too much footage of angulo and kirkland and fall in line to what's supposed to happen

i would have flipped my pick

same with katsidis and burns

i guess i learned in the past

"safe picks" on paper not really safe

roach and beristein fighters lose before the big showdown

no one had both demarco and kirkland
