Play: Mares-130. Thong and myself were at the last fight. Agbeko, aside from getting cracked in the gonads a few times, says he was not fully prepared. To me, any time a guy makes excuses, I feel its not a good sign, low blows notwithstanding. I feel Mares youth and determination win this again. I just hope Russell Mora, the ref in the previous tilt, is on vacation in Rangoon somewhere.

Ever see the movie "The treasure of the Sierra Madres" ? Margarito could easily be one of the banditos up in the hills, without makeup! I HAVE to play Mares/Agbeko; too much intrigue. I need the adrenalin. Line on Rodriguez/Wolak dropped like a anvil in a vacuum. Value eroding.

Play:Brandon Rios/Murray under 9.5-225. Rios is one bad dude. On HBO-PPV should motivate him to go into seek and destroy mode quick.

Fully agree Rios should get the win easily.
He is currently priced -300 Ko/TKo/Dq or at -333 fight not to go the distance. I like both bets, but as I have him straight in some parlays I am not sure if I should add more risk to it...

Margarito says Cotto beats up family members(his uncle). This is a soap of epic proportions. Badges? One of the best scenes from a movie ever. I am almost tempted to buy this PPV; Rodriguez/Wolak; Brandon Rios; Mike Jones and the main event. A good value.

This play is CANCELLED. Watched fight again. Mares given a gift by inept job of Mora, the "ref"! Agbeko, on a level playing field, has a good shot here.

Even though we were there, watching it again, also with the slo-mo replay, there had to be 10 low blows, at least 3 major transgressions. That "ref" was biased, or on the take.

Looking at it again, Mares gets hit A LOT! If the going gets tough, Mares may go native and revert back to what worked for him versus Vic and Agbeko, LOW BLOWS. If so, the complexion of the fight will change, as long as he is penalized for doing it. Agbeko will get a huge boost on confidence, and turn the tide in his favor. If I don't hear anything negative, I have to lean Joseph Agbeko. I'll change my name to flip-flop Frank!

Just to elaborate a tad. This match up seems a little odd at first blush. I say this as Rios is aggressive and takes no prisoners; a regular tag em and bag guy. Murray, for his part has never had his passport stamped to the states and fighting comfy/cozy in England, always. But what seems odd is he was KO'd last time out and one would think he would be fed a nice, soft cupcake to get his confidence back. Rios! WTF!!!!! Maybe he feels the exposure is worth a thrashing and maybe the money is there also. I know Ryan Rhodes came to the US knowing he could not beat Canelo, but felt there was something to be gained. Before Murray get dummied by Mitchell, the 2 guys he beat before that were total tomato cans. Bizarre. I may have to hit it again.

rios should beat the punch resistance out of poor murray

murray's style is mexican but rios much more dynamic and destructive, more multi-layered approach to whupping azz

You know, Rios' people are saying what a tough guy Murray is. Of course they say that. Should they say he is a marsh mellow about to get taken apart? Rios is 25 years old. He is looking to make millions, like everyone else. He has to impress to get the high profile exposure. This, after all, is the creme de la creme of televised boxing, HBO-PPV. I understand there will be four fights televised. Rios will be one of them.
