I really dont know what to do with the Antillon Soto fight!?

Soto failed to impress me in hist last fights!

So maybe Antillon can outpoint him, if the vintage Soto turns up however, I could see a stoppage for Soto and the line on that is pretty good!

Any interviews by Soto!!?

BTW, apparently Antillion had to take off his underwear to make weight

@Andrey:
I agree!
I lke the over as well!!
Donaire is very good, but Siderenko should be hard to stop!!

Weekend plays

Weekend plays

Donaire-Sydorenko OVER 9.5 (+110) - medium
Sydorenko with many 12 round decisions. He is a highly skilled guy with tons of experience. I like this to go the route.

Barros-Berry OVER 11.5 (-110) - medium
Long way to go, but neither guy ever stopped, and without much power. Barring shenanigans, this has the look of a distance fight to me.

V. Sydorenko (+1000) - medium
All right, I'm calling the shocker here. I think Sydorenko has an excellent chance to do this, and am stunned at the odds, and how little credit he's getting. Sydorenko is a former champ, and a former bronze metal Olympian. He is a crafty and highly skilled fighter with tons of big fight experience. Victories over Agbeko and Poonsawat. Two draws with Cordoba where he had the advantage on one card. Two very close losses to Anselmo Moreno. I saw the second fight, and it could have gone either way. He is amongst the very best fighters at bantam.

I'm not gonna say Donaire is not good, even bordering on great in recent form, but he has not had things entirely his own way. Very tough win over average R.Concepcion, when he was even rocked and hurt a couple times, presents some questions. Concepcion came in bigger too, and maybe Donaire will not be so devastating at the higher weight? I remember the S.African Mthalane giving him some problems too. What I like in this spot is that Donaire has never really beaten a highly-skilled boxer like Syd. His best win, and it is a good one, was against the free-swinging, and probably weight-drained Darchinyan. Other than that who has he beaten? Syd is a totally different proposition, and I think Donaire will find out early on that he's got his hands full.

Close being no cigar, I'm saying that Sydorenko pulls this off, and wins a shocking 12 rd. decision.

Urbano Antillon (+255) - medium
Soto unimpressive in recent fights. His last fight, a close one against a totally untested Columbian, a fighter he should have doused, was almost disturbing. Antillon surprising loss to Acosta looks a lot better in hindsight, now that we know how good Acosta is. Antillon may be a good bit slower than Soto, but is probably stronger. I think this one is even up, and will play the favorable odds in hope of the big upset.

Burns-Evensen UNDER 9.5 (+200) - small
Small play that the class difference will tell here. I think that Burns will want to be impressive, and he has been settling down on his shots more recently. KO over the African Amidu was impressive, and he had Martinez rocked, hurt, and almost out a couple times when winning the title. I think he's got a fair shot to get Evensen out of there. Also a bit on the under 7.5 at +3.

All right, that will do it. Good luck guys!
Go Sydorenko!!

Q

that little beggar sydorenko has been 12 rounds 12 times....so he certainly knows how to go rounds.....

the one worry for me is the age....34 is a little long in the tooth...and he`s fighting outside his comfort zone(germany/ukraine).....

still, this isn`t a wild swinging darchinyan leaving himself open to go for broke...it`s a clever little boxer who knows how to go rounds...and probably takes pride in never having been stopped....

with only 7 k.o.`s,it`s not in sydorenko`s nature to get real careless.....

i think it`s definitely worth a tickle,q....:toast:

edit...sorry...old dirty was there ,too...nice get fellas....:toast:
