After looking at my pending wagers for tonight, I'm a little too heavy on Austin. Golata is the better fighter, and if he doesn't get caught early or have another mental meltdown, he should be too skilled for Austin. I bought back a little of my Austin play with Golata at -265

Final play on Austin +250...lay .10 to win .25

I added a Very Small bet on Campos to beat Salita at +3000.

Salita was decked in the first round by Robert Frankel who has 4 KO's in 30 fights.

He was decked twice in the first round by Ramon Montano who has 1 KO in 24 fights.

This is a Boxrec wager that I believe is worth a very small flutter.

Good luck all.

Evan picks Cauthen for a unit @+475...I think that might be a good bet....

I'm also on Mollo...hope he wins a decision...McCline usually finds a way to lose, but he went the distance with Peter and Ruiz recently...and I dont consider Mollo to be on their level....

I added a small play on Mollo under 3 rounds at +1600.

Either he comes out blitzing and gets the big shitebag out of there or he runs out of gas after 3 rounds and gets beat.

yo wee

thanks for the heads up on this one

never even considered it...but taking a look at boxrec and knowing a few things about salita

i will tag along SMALL

salita really is not very good and the minute he steps up someone will finish him

considering cauthen SMALL as well...he seems to be in good shape and rejuvenated at 147...and alvarez may be a bit overrated...

but I'm saving most of my cash for Saturday....

Watched Golota vs Mollo; Mollo doesn't move his head and doesn't slip punches, he just stands in there hoping not to get hit.
Mc Cline dropped Peter with an uppercut, and i believe he will land it again.

I'm not touching it, though. Saving myself for Abraham and Jones.

Do you guys know the results from the China card?

boxrec shows no results for the Misawa fight, which should have been early on the card. Yet it lists McCline UD Mollo. No result on Golota.

Huh?

per fightnews:

In a mostly dreadful heavyweight eliminator "fight," Mike Mollo and Jameel McCline plodded, held and sometimes slugged. By the fourth round, some actual punches were thrown and even connected, mostly by Mollo. At that point, scores were 39-37 Mollo, 39-38 McCline and 39-37 Mollo. In round six, McCline decided to throw and hurt Mollo twice, sending Mollo to his corner at the end of the round on rubbery legs. After two more slugging and holding rounds, scores were 78-75 McCline, 77-75 Mollo and 76-76. Mollo developed a dark purple mouse under his left eye, but it wasn't a factor as much as fatigue was. In round eleven, McCline was hit low and given a break, after which he seemed invigorated and staggered Mollo on three occasions, but failed to capitalize each time. More of the same in the twelfth and final round as McCline sailed to a 114-113, 116-111, 116-112 unanimous decision victory.

Golota fighting now NJ

here is the Misawa fight...sounds awesome:

In an absolutely tremendous war, WBC interim strawweight champion Juan "El Exterminador" Palacios outlasted Teruo Misawa to stop the tough challenger in eight bloody rounds. From round one, Misawa would streak across the ring at each bell, the joy of the crowd. Palacios took his time to find a rhythm, but the Japanese gave as good as he took. In round two, Misawa seemed to shake Palacios with a right to the head for a moment. In round three Palacios caught Misawa against the ropes, sending his challenger down and onto the ring apron. Misawa beat the count and survived the round by firing back. After four rounds, the scores read 40-36 x two and 39-37. Palacios power seemed to be increasing over the next few rounds but Misawa kept firing back. Bynow, Misawa was bleeding heavily from the nose and Palacios had a terrible gash thelength of his left eyebrow, just inderneath. In round seven, both fighters tumbled to the canvas in a ruled slip, but it was Misawa who rose on shaky legs. A follow-up barrage of upper cuts to the body and head dropped Misawa again, and again the gritty challenger rose. Palacios jumped on his stricken foe and referee Steve Blea stopped the bout, time of 2:28 of the round.

Ghost, you were right about one thing: I think Mollo outworks him in a sloppy fight....or McCline jabs and holds him en route to a decision in a sloppy fight....did i mention its going to be sloppy?....

lol

The over hit, which was my biggest wager of the night. Lost a bit on Mollo and Misawa

Looking back, I put too much on Austin. Small should have been tiny, he really does stink.

NJ...i really couldn't figure out why Evan and others backed Mollo so heavily

Mollo tries his best but he's a clubfighter....

sounds llike he barely made it through....
