Not a good start to the week for me!
I also played under x rounds McKenzie, but gave away the profit (again) because the trout fight went under...

Now, I hope Alvarado, Pacman, Fury and Timothy take care of business!!

BTW, I dont like Cains weight and his look at all!
I might just hedge!!

Anybody actually like Prescott at the current odds of 4-1+? Watching Alvarado he doesn't seem invincible, kind of slow both in hand speed and footwork.

Anyone have a clue how good Prescott's chin is? If he can handle Alvarado's power he may be able to outbox him with his superior movement. Although I doubt he'll get a close decision anyways so maybe it is pointless betting on Prescott.

In the main event like the under 10.5 rounds at -170 or so. Line set generously, guessing due to the Pacman's previous bouts going the distance. But Clottey, Margarito and Mosley all are naturally bigger guys with iron chins (or for Clottey iron guard).

lots of folks talking about marquez` newly found muscle and his association with some" sketchy"
character...

http://www.boxinginsider.com/headlines/pacquiao-marquez-the-question-of-muscles/

http://espn.go.com/blog/boxing/post/_/id/742/roach-surprised-by-marquezs-added-muscle

maybe the muscle will actually slow marquez down...or maybe add a little oomph to his shots?....

interesting stuff...

I made a small play on Prescott. Problem here is Alvarado is a Top Rank(Bob Arum) guy. Seems deck is usually stacked in their favor somehow. But Prescott, as I said before, comes to fight and unless there is something fishy going on, he has some value at 4-1 odds. Also Manny is NOT the search and destroy monster he used to be. He has morphed into about 60% boxer/40% KO artist now. Plus he says he wants to "punish" Marquez for being disrespectful. HA! Sure; meanwhile these two guys were on stage singing a fuking duet together. So, who knows what to believe?

Pacman straight, Pacman inside, fight not the distance... :0074

BIG BIG fight for me

In addition:

Bradley inside (+200) and fight not the distance (+120) (mid-big)

Fury under (mid) -150

Gesta in a parlay

Alvaro over mid rounds (small)
Alvaro straight + late rounds (small)

added:
Parlasy Cruz Vassel +100 (mid)

Thanks to my buddy Zerwas, that made me aware of the weight-in of Cains... I hedged for a small profit.

Looking forward for tonight!!!

:popcorn2 :popcorn2 :popcorn2

Good luck to the crew!
Cheers
LotL

Posting streaming links

Posting streaming links

Frank, I don't want to come across as some miserable person but I would suggest being very careful about posting links to streaming sites on an open forum. Frank Warren soon takes his BoxNation channel to a subscription service (like HBO and Showtime). He is a highly litigious person. He will have his lawyers looking to locate and shut down streaming sites. By posting links you are almost guaranteeing that this site gets shut down. Trust me on this. However, maybe some other forum members have views on this such as Evan? I know that Evan enjoys watching the streams of the Euro fights. You can always tell me to mind my own business Frank but I am thinking of the common good. It's no use saying: "Damn, what a shame!" once the site has gone. Already one streaming site, MyP2P has I believe been closed down, or at least been pushed into such a secret location that no one can find it!

Trying my luck with Prescott by decision at 10-1. Alvarado looks pretty sturdy and I'm not sure if the new boxer style of Prescott at this higher weight has the same legitimate power and commitment to ko'ing opponents. I know the cards are going to be tilted towards Alvarado so Prescott is going to have to clearly win the fight.

Somewhat contradictory to the above play but I'll bite at the +150 odds on the fight not going the distance. Slight hedge on Alvarado blowing by Prescott but also just think the matchup will likely produce good action. Prescott has adjusted his style a little to boxing more but I just think the line is a little off. Facts are both guys have above average power and despite Prescott boxing more I don't think this fight is going to be boring, I expect a lively fight. If you look at the key fights of Prescott, which for the most part have all gone the distance, you can see almost all the guys were true boxers unlike Alvarado. McCloskey, Jargal, Mitchell and Vazquez were all guys who wanted to outpoint Prescott and were not interested in getting into a brawl. Think the chances are closer to 50/50 this fight goes the distance.

***Also covered my bases on a draw at 30-1

Somewhat of an early stoppage, but it was a foregone conclusion anyway. Fury would have put him to sleep straight away, so the ref did the other guy a favor, me thinks. I like the result in any case.

Good call. I edited my post. Look, I know you want to help the forum members get as much enjoyment out of their boxing as possible. Maybe sending PMs concerning streaming sites is the way to go? I do believe that FW will be making a major offensive against streaming sites as he has a huge amount of money invested in BoxNation.

OK. I get where you are coming from. I could try a weasel method; put it up for 5 minutes then remove it. I don't want to be a spoiler either, but I know these guys, and they just LOVE to watch fights. Peace.
