Very interesting stuff there Ghost. I honestly believe several fighters are using performaning enhancing drugs and are able to fly in under the radar due to finding a way to not test dirty. Both Hop and Mosley fought like 30 yr olds v Pav and Marg. How the fck do these guys increase their punch output after looking so so for several yrs????
Where there is a will, there is a way. Obviously I have no proof but we're seeing guys do things that haven't been seen before. There has to be a logical explanation.

I have NEVER seen Ward or Chambers fight they way they did their last two fights.
Just saying.
If Eddie Chambers KOs Wlad in March, I am getting Conti's phone number and ordering a years worth of these "supplements".
I want to be a champion too !!!!!!!

I thought about that myself. There was no rational explanation for how Hop and Mosley turned back the clock miraculously, and both under Nazim Richardson.

I kept waiting for Hopkins to tire like he always does, but he just kept going. It was very bizarre.

Mosley looked nothing like the fading fighter we saw against Mayorga or even Cotto.

Lee Haskins +370???
I overlooked it at first, but I just thought he should be a favorite and it looks like it is not just me. Some people also surprised that he is underdog. Anyway I placed small bet on Haskins. Maybe there is something special about his undefited but untested and shorter opponent?

The British linemakers were no doubt thinking of an appalling fight between Haskins and Andy Bell, which was an ugly scramble with both guys falling to the canvas in frequent tangles. ... Broadhurst is a Commonwealth Games gold medallist and is considered to have star potential; a clever and confident young fighter who has been hurting people to the body. This is a step up for Broadhurst, though, and the odds look a little high to me. I'll be looking at this fight in the next day or so.

"the bunker"
Wish I knew this info prior to the bout, I would have loaded up on Andre Ward:

Andre Ward just became the WBA world super-middleweight boxing champion. Outfielder Marlon Byrd doubled his season-high home run total this year for the Texas Rangers. In March, British sprinter Dwain Chambers ran one of the five fastest 60-meter times in history.

Each has been assisted by a man who earlier this decade orchestrated one of the darkest scams committed in sports history: Victor Conte.

...Ward said he used a $4,000 IHT unit from Conte for "about 10 or 11" of Conte's prescribed 15 daily treatments while preparing for his Nov. 21 win over Mikkel Kessler. Ward downplayed the IHT training in his win, although he said that, "By the 11th [round], I caught my second wind. That's when I caught" Kessler.

Said Conte about Ward's championship run: "It's worked exactly as I hoped it would."

Conte said he's provided his nutritional supplements to Ward and other athletes, including heavyweight boxer Eddie Chambers, who will fight Wladimir Klitschko for a world title in March.

Chambers says he uses many Conte products, from energy shakes to pills that help him recover from weight-lifting sessions and allow him to sleep better. He said he plans to use IHT training before the Klitschko bout.

better boxing through chemistry........my guess is this stuff is prevalent across the sports spectrum.....

legal or illegal?...who the hell knows...what i do know is that people are just too slick and devious....they`ll always figure a way to game the system to gain an advantage...

i`m pretty disgusted with the state of mankind in general....(yes i`m a cynic)....

Heard about this. And it's obvious Ward's brute physical strength is enormous right now. He man handled Miranda and Kessler with ease. And couple that with speed and reflexes and you have a very formidable guy. I think Andre Dirrell may need to call Conti.:142smilie :142smilie :mj07: :mj07:

Tomas Rojas (+500) - medium rare Odds are plummeting now. I think Darchinyan is overrated. A slick boxer like Rojas may well give him some problems. Latest winning run seems to have given Rojas great confidence. Darch should be favorite, but not by this much. Could be a letdown fight for him following Agbeko loss. At plus 5, I think Rojas is worth a shot.

Darchinyan-Rojas OVER 8.5 (+160) - medium well On the same note, I think this is a competitive fight that is likely to go rounds. Rojas can and will move, and has shown a good beard over his career. At times wild Darch may have problems landing clean shots.

Lee Haskins (+300) - small Haskins looks to have peaked, but at +3 is worth a shot against entirely untested Broadhurst

Kevin Johnson (+1000) - tiny Okay, it's a prayer, but Johnson is better than he is getting credit for here. It's hard to imagine a scenario with Johnson winning, but at these odds it's worth a slight.

Wow!! Another huge doggie week for me:

Peterson +205
Malignaggi +115
Rojas +500
Darchinyan-Rojas OVER +160
Haskins +300
Johnson +1000

We'll see... Peterson is the big play of the week.

Good luck friends!!! :SIB

I seriously cannot believe that ESPN is only showing Pascal vs. Diaconu 2 on tape delay on the their Spanish outlet a day later.

Do they really have to show the freaking rodeo LIVE on Friday? How big a TV audience is there really for the rodeo?
