- Gonna take Haskins winnings and go on the Bradley-Peterson OVER 11.5 (-200) for what will be a 'medium' play. Certainly seems the likely result...we'll see how it plays out.

- Alot of luv out there for Rojas tomorrow night... See if we call the upset right.

- I'm curious about Ustinov, but he and his people may have showed a little yellow streak with their last minute backout against Cedric Boswell - who I like...and now taking on Monte Barrett - who is starting to make me a little nervous with his lack of punch resistance. If Ustinov's people weren't afraid of Boswell, why not bring him over for this fight?

Ustinov will MURDER Barrett
dude is HUGE and has never been off his feet (in boxing or K1)
He is slow and plodding but has a lot of power
I will cut my left nut off if Monte makes it 10
Ustinov EASY

the bradley peterson over sure looks likely....a mediocre punching slickster vs a short, fast fireplug with very mediocre power...

sounds like a potentially high energy slap-fight...

barring a cut(neither guy is caucasian,so that`s in our favor),sure looks like a distance tilt from here....

hey all, followed a lot of the weekly boxing threads and thought I would finally contribute my highly valuable insights here and there. lol

First one probably going to get me some crap but I really think the Kingpin can give Vitali a run for his money. I honestly think he's the most dangerous opponent Vitali has fought since Lennox Lewis. Not saying the Kingpin is as good as Lewis but just saying its been awhile imo since Vitali was in there with any sort of live body. Yes Arreola was somewhat interesting but his overall lack of mobility was always going to make it a very difficult matchup.

Kevin Johnson is a crafty skilled boxer. His long reach along with his movement should enable him to actually land leather on Vitali on a somewhat consistent basis, much more than his recent foes. He has a great jab and I swear he hits harder then his weak KO record would suggest. If that right hand keeps improving he will be a handful for anyone. And although it hasn't been tested by anyone of note his chin looks quite sturdy. All in all at 12-1 (oly) I will take my chances, think he has a much better chance then the odds indicate.

Welcome Habecki!!

I have to agree with you on Johnson, which is why I took a little shot at huge odds. It's hard to imagine Johnson winning, but I think he's better than he's getting credit for here. Let's hope lightning strikes!

I pegged that one COMPLETELY wrong and paid a price...my bad...didn't know jack about these guys...:sadwave: :sadwave: :sadwave: $$$

Congrats to the doggy backers!

Thanks Romi, I appreciate that. I gotta tell you...you take you're hits very well, which is a big part of hangin tough in this game.

It's a shame we'll be going head to head on Peterson vs. Bradley - should be a great fight, and neither one of us will be off by much.

Go Rojas!!!

Welcome to the board. Should Johnson somehow pull off the miracle, you will be the most popular guy here...for a few hours anyway. I will be absolutely shocked if he can do it. Klit has never been behind in a fight and he really doesn't get the credit he deserves for his tremendous boxing ability. Most just credit his size. I believe you have to back the big guy up and get him out of his comfort zone to beat him. I don't see Johnson having the tools to do that. Good luck if you placed a wager.

Pascal stands his ground and REALLY opens up on Dic. So much so, that Dic go's for the double leg takedown. Good round.

Round 4 Pascal and Dic both throwing bombs.

Pascal much faster and landing more but I don't think this torrid pace suits him.

Pascal takes a pounding in round 5. I think his right shoulder is jacked just by the way he is fighting now.

:scared say it aint so PLEASE
Round 7 He is throwing both hands again.

I don't know if he is playing possum or conserving energy after coming out with guns blazing in the first 4 rounds.
