Also played Valuev by decision at 2-1 small due to the Sauerland and King factors combined with the marketability of both fighters. KIng knows that no one wants to watch Ruiz fight and everyone wants to see Valuev. With King now having a small interest in Valuev and Sauerland having full interest, not to mention the history of hometown decisions in Germany, makes the +200 on Valuev by decision a must play.

i think i`m gonna have to look into sportsbook.com...

and i think i`m gonna off my valuev wager and take some bigger odds on ruiz....i`ll win a little if valuev pulls it off....break even if ruiz clinches his way to a win...

....i`ll stick with the over and hope there`s no d.q.

i just can`t....in good conscience.....bet against ruiz....given my track record betting the guy`s fights...regardless of the venue...and don king`s monetary interest in valuev....

Anywhere to follow this fight on the web? BBC does kind of a play by play for british fights, is there anything like that for German boxing? ANy help would be appreciated!

Valuev is just a big,slow, no talent. Ruiz actually is more talented than this guy. I wouldn't be surprised if valuev won but he's not real good IMO. He does have the homefield advantage although 2 refs have spanish names so who knows. I scalped the crap out of the fight and would prefer Ruiz to win.

I did ok on the week going 2-1. Damn you Peter...as an extra boost, Ruiz lost. All in all, not that bad if I say so myself......

I actually tried to play the Haye under 5.5 at -120 discarding my rule about not laying wood on unders. But when I submitted the wager they said the line had changed and when I refreshed it was -150. Too much wood for me, esp considering that Gurov recently went 8 rounds with Mormeck. However...given the style, power, and chin of both fighters, I knew it wouldn't last long. Figured it would be bombs away from the opening bell...and it was.

I just realized that I parlayed the Haye under 5.5 -155 with Miami -440 in the nfl. I was pissed about missing the -120 so I went to 5dimes and parlayed it with the most solid ML in the nfl to get even money. It worked out well, can't believe I forgot about it.
