Hi,

so far,

Medium Mayweather over Hatton.

Medium H?ussler over Sanaria @ 2.85 . I don't understand why Sanaria is the favourite in this one. he lost the first fight and is nothing special. Neither is H?ussler, so its kind of 50/50. Sanaria is still riding on his pts win over Markus Beyer, who was an absolute head case. The real Beyer showed up in the rematch and starched him 5. I might go back and revisit this. H?ussler is an average fighter, but very consistent in his outings. Sanaria only has one style, and I cant imagine him learning anything from the last fight. The dude is an absolute short-arse, its not like he is suddenly going to be fighting from the outside.

thanks Box. I'm pretty surprise to not see any line for tomorrow's big fight here in montreal: Alcine -Mosquera... There is a belt to be win so why no line?

Sportsbetting...

Joachim Alcine -2500
Alfonso Mosquera +1250

Over 9.5 (-135)
Under 9.5 (-105)

Any thoughts on this one?

Another solid boxing guy I know is on Haussler as well. To be honest I was leaning Sanavia based on the result of the first fight. A very close majority decision win for Haussler in Germany under his promoter...which means Sanavia probably did enough to win but the close rounds went to the house guy. This fight is not in Germany, which at first made me think Sanavia would get a fair shake, but then I realized its still promoted by Sauerland. No way would I lay 2-1 against a Sauerland fighter under their own promotion. So I guess its Haussler or nothing, and he's just not any good, so I'll pass on this one

I have somewhat of a large wager on Yuri @-190. I was not impressed in his last fight but I thought he won against Thompson. It was close and he simply stole the rds against the more agressive Thompson. Yuri is 5' 11" and Tsurk is 5' 8". Yuri is faster and has decnt foot movement. Tsurk is a bit slow and plodding. His biggest win was against a blown up Camacho, who has NO heart. Camacho kept it close until he quit and I don't compare Camacho to Foreman. Tsurk wins only if he catches Yuri and puts him down. I believe Yuri wins a workman like 10 rd dec. The dec prop @-120 is probably the best bet here but I don't want to put any more on this one.

Box-

If the odds keep dropping on PBF (currently -191 at Pinny) will you consider a straight wager or do you have too much already invested in the parlays?
Thanks.

I already have enough on Floyd to win, if I put anymore on this fight it would be a parlay including the "NOT Hatton inside distance" prop which is now down to -550. I already have a personal parlay combining that with Foreman-Tsurkan Over 9.5 -360 getting the odds down to -200

Judah hit Floyd with several of his best straight left hands and they barely made a dent, if Zab can't hurt Floyd with a single shot, neither can Hatton. The fact is, Hatton is not that big of a puncher at 140, he's a volume guy, breaks guys down over time with an accumulation of punches...mostly to the body. However, plenty of guys have taken Hatton the distance and none of them were defensive genious' like Floyd. Most of Hatton's opponents were guys who stood right in front him and took shot after shot, and still many of them went the distance. Floyd won't get hit with enough shots to be stopped by this guy. Floyd knows Hatton can be hurt to the body, and he will take the wind out him early and often, not good for a volume puncher like Hatton. If Hatton wins it will be by contraversial decision, not a stoppage

I don't know Box the more i look at this i don't have a clue how Hatton last the whole fight. Just saw these two standing next to each other on ESPN and i couldn't believe how much bigger Floyd looks. No way Hatton could even hit as hard as Dela Hoya and im not sure Oscar landed more than ten punches. I may take a shot at inside the distance also. Hatton can be as hungry as a bear but this is about talent, and Floyd has a boat load of it. I think Floyd is so confident that he actually stands there and bangs with him instead of dancing all night. Those little sly remarks he makes on HBO makes me wonder if he actually thinks Hatton belongs in the ring with him. At least he showed some respect with Oscar in their 24/7 but it looks like he doesn't have any at all for Hatton.

I like that post Box, because the only thing I have at this point is Hatton by Decision a while back at +650. I don't like all the hoopla and politics surrounding this bout. De La Homo/Golden Boy ... Ref Cortez to me seemed pro Hatton in his last fight. Think I'll go to the weigh-in tomorrow- just to hear 10,000 screaming Brits

Foreman won by 10 round decision

Foreman cashes at -155 and my personal parlay on the Over 9.5 is alive with Mayweather not getting stopped as the kicker

Congrats Romi on another nice winner

Holy Cow Alcine -2500!!! :scared
I do like him but not at this odds!!!:nono:
Best play would be Under 9.5.. I see alcine by TKO before the 9.

There does look like quite a difference in class here. Does Alcine have the right killer instinct/temperament. Will he try and take him out after some rounds of assesing?

"the bunker"
frankly,i`m amazed....and extremely grateful to hbo and their 24-7 series on the big fight....

they`ve done a fantastic job of hyping/ promoting ricky hatton as the "good guy" and mayweather as the "bad guy"(which in my biased eye is about right).....

mayweather`s pretty much a reprehensible thug(to my white-bread sensibilities) and hatton is the ultimate blue collar/hard working family man....you don`t get any more likable and wholesome than hatton and his family....

and hbo has succeeded in making it seem like hatton has an excellent chance of winning....

this is where we part company...thankfully,those pictures of the 2 fighters side by side weren`t given much depth....because mayweather is the bigger man...a good deal bigger from what i`ve seen...

i see this in very simple terms....i see a guy who in his only trip into the welterweight division was extremely lucky to get the win vs a guy who couldn`t hold mayweather`s jock......

as much as i dislike him on a personal level, floyd mayweather IS THE PFP #1 FIGHTER IN THE WORLD...it is what it is...

if hatton,....a pressure fighting left hooker.... can move up to welter and rough up and beat down mayweather over a full 12 rounds....which a full sized jr middleweight oscar de la hoya(another pretty tough left hooker..h.o.f. bound) couldn`t do.......then so be it...

if hatton can outpoint the guy with the best skillset in the world...a guy who happens to be taller and bigger....quicker and faster.....then,i`ll pay the man.....

if i lose(and the las vegas judges/dlh and company are a worry),i`ll take a hit.....but,deep down,i`ll be happy to see hatton,a guy who i truly admire for coming to america and laying it on the line,be the guy to shut up and embarrass mayweather....

it`s at -200 now....i have to take the bait...i just have to....

i just hope theres no controversy...
