Tailed you on the Diaz play. Been lazy about boxing lately, so I'll be a parasite and lean on you for now! GL with the rest of your action.

We have a lot of the same picks this week Box, which I guess is good for both of us. I like Lawrence, Diaz, and Dawson as well. I like Spinks also. Jones is on his last leg here.........

Hey box, how solid is sportsbook? Lets say you want to make a big play and pull out if you hit it? Give me a 1-10 on their solidness.

Garden, Im done with you. We're getting divorced.

To be honest I can't testify as to how solid any books are right now, any of them could pull up shop and leave you hangin if they wanted to...

However

Sportsbook.com is one of the most reputable offshore books out there, so if you're willing to risk the offshore market, sportsbook is as solid as they come. I've made several withdrawals from them in the past and never had a problem.

IMO...5dimes and Sportsbook are the best boxing options out there right now. I also use Olympic and BetCRIS as alternate outs.

"the bunker"
i can`t believe that the fool floyd, sr...who dawson left dan birmingham for.......is leaving dawson in the lurch for that skank laila ali......

she`s fighting another set-up,and dawson,if he wins here, has about a million great options sitting in front of him to make beaucoup cabbage.....

floyd sr`s a damn fool....and imo,a lousy cornerman(if not a lousy trainer).....he won`t be missed in the corner...

despite the don king connection and dawson`s having a fool for a trainer,i really liked what dawson did to once top tier guy eric harding.....

adamek coming off of a very different style of fighter(briggs) than he`ll see here....ditto for dawson(outslicking the slick harding).....

can dawson be slick for 12?...will adamek be to strong and just walk him down?...wear him down?...dawson`s been down i think twice before...but he gets back up......i`ve read that adamek is a persistent, come forward guy....but he doesn`t play much defense....and despite winning majority decisions, took physical beatings vs briggs....broken noses, swollen eyes, cuts etc....

tall.lefty dawson should be able to hit him...often....can he get adamek`s respect?....cut him up?....

will the big stage be to much for dawson?....

box hipped me to the adamek/don king connection......that`s a real concern in a close fight...

still,i think if he`s strong enough...is a true lt heavy now,he`s worth a real hard look as almost a 2-1 dog....

he`s really talented...but,i missed both adamek/briggs fights......

anybody care to comment on those 2 wars?....

Yeah, I care to comment. I only saw their second fight and Adamek did not win that fight. It should of been a draw but if I had to give it to anybody I would of given it to Briggs. One piece of sh!t judge (Ray Hawkins I think - unless Im thinking of a different fight) had it 115-111. He seriously deserves to be hung on general principle.

Adamek is decent and he takes a good punch but Briggs kept landing these gigantic right hands on him all night and he didnt even try to stop them or make an adjustment. I think he got dropped in the 2nd round too.

Adamek is decent but hes beatable. Ive never seen Dawson fight though. At least Adamek doesnt have to fight a guy who took it in the pooper as a kid and was raised as a Tai kickboxer this time.

Ive been catching up this month and I've seen all the Euros fight now. Abraham, Erdei, Kessler, and Adamek.

I dont know what Max's dumb ass is talking about. Abraham beat Miranda even without the deductions. He ran the last 3 rounds of the fight and took a whopping but he was up so much that he could do it and still win. Miranda was getting rocked early in the fight with some hard shots so he started fighting a really dirty fight. Abraham is a tough sob, the guys jaw was shattered and about to fall off and he was still beating Miranda up until the last few rounds.

Kessler is no joke. He was the guy I was most impressed with. Ive only seen his one fight with Beyer but I was really impressed. That is a HELL of a fight coming up with Andrade, a HELL of a fight. Its in friggin Denmark so I dont think it will even be on TV over here which is tragic. I would pay to see that fight.

What was my point though? Oh yeah, if Dawson is a really good guy he can beat Adamek. But maybe Mcgirt has been plugging those defensive holes up with Adamek, I dont know.

Hey Garden, what happened to that European guy - Tony or whatever his name was that was on the **? That guy was solid. He went like 10 for 10 on European fights when I was following him, the guy was an animal. Is he still around?

Another thing on the Adamek fight. It was in Chicago and he had all the Pollocks cheering his every punch so that and Afroman probably really helped him out with the judges. I dont think there are too many Pols in Fla. though.

And where are you seeing that Floyd is bailing out on Dawson?

The great Tony M. shows up in my threads (at the other place) about twice a year, but even then he doesn't post plays. I've tried to bring him over here or post more often over there but he's not interested

If you guys were tight, start a new thead at the other place asking him to respond, mostly likely he will...eventually

Trust me Adamek is gonna have a big support from Polish fans. Me and my friend are going. We started drinking already and it's gonna be pretty wild. Maybe not as many Polish fans as in Chicago but there will be Polish crowd, pretty loud Polish crowd.
GO ADAMEK!!!!
