I actually liked your two puppies myself. At least one, if not both could win. No opinion on the German bouts. I would really like some feedback on this Reyes-Soto fight Friday nite. It's at one of the local casinos here in Vegas and we may attend. Where the hell is fletcher?

Hey Boxlocks,

can you tell me anything about Vaughn Bean? Was going to put a little on Dokiwari (saw him on HBO few months back). He looked pretty solid even though I believe he lost that night. Was also looking at the over rounds.

Any chance you think "chop chop" gives Cotto problems? Cotto has looked very impressive in all the fights I've seen him in.

thks.

borderline boxing fan here.

Bean is short, fat, and awkward, and he fights like John Ruiz but he's crafty and has a little power. If you saw Dokiwari fight a few months ago he got stopped in the 1st round by journeyman Stacy Frazier. Prior to that and 1 year earlier he lost a unanimous decision to underachiever Dominik Guinn. 5 years ago he lost a 6 round lopsided UD to Fres Oquendo, other than that he has beat a few decent journymen as pro after a solid amateur career. Doki will have a 5" height advantage and a 4" reach advantage but he has a very questionable chin and should not be favored by that much, imo.

Cotto will win easily tonight, the question is how? I was considering playing the over 7.5 at -160 but then I saw fletcher posted a play on the under and he's been on fire lately on the fights. However Corely has never been stopped and has gone the distance with Mayweather, Judah, and Bailey so he's used to getting hit hard and 7.5 seems a little low here so I may still play it. Depends on what happens with my last big play of the weekend, if it wins I'm up big and done for the week besides the live dogs tonight.

What I like about Corely is that he's a slick experienced southpaw who has been in with the best and can take a great punch. Cotto hasn't fought a sothpaw in a long time and hasn't fought many period. I'm either going to play the over 7.5 small or Cotto wins by decision at +300 or so.

appreciate the info and insights.

jeez guess I'm losing track of time. The fight I was thinking of was the Guinn bout. Those other results are disturbing. I will lay off, was going to more an action play anyways.

Having a bad day in hoops today might have to try Corley/Cotto Draw at 30-1
