rd10-jones takes the rd and he should win something like 98-92 or 97-93...but he is a work in progress. His ko % is not indicative of his true power...He's an arm puncher and it won't serve him well in the future... dec coming up

Jones rates his performance a C...I like that attitude...shows that he knows he has a lot of work to do...

CONGRATS JACKERS! especially Quanah who called a BIG upset. Ghost you DESERVE that draw call...I think you will get it. Good luck Brother!

Jones looked tight with a capital T. Surprised since he fought tough guys like Gilbert Venegas and Luciano Perez. Not too impressive tonight. Think Antwone Smith would spank him.

Mayol has beef with the WBC and they do the right thing. Well, actually they could have DQ'd Nino but they at least they took appropriate action.

ring announcer is usually the final say in these disputes

official verdict was TECH DRAW

I think that is fair considering Romero landed the blow when the ref was intervening, but Mayol created the situation by dropping his gloves and looking at the ref

I have seen these TECH DRAWS a few times in Mexico over the years

It will be sweet to cash this

and yes, I agree, Mike Jones looked like poo poo

Yep, draw hits on that one. Good deal!

Man, Nino just walked in and let the shot fly. Couldn't have been cleaner. It was like T-ball - damn.

Hope Mayol is OK. Didn't look good leaving like that but hopefully it was just precautionary.

my buddy made a good point on the Romero knockdown punch
Vic Drakulich almost aided in giving Romero more power on that shot
He was trying to intervene and held back the right shoulder of Romero
gave Romero stability and he was able to throw himself with full impact into that left hook
Mayol got STARCHED bad

Romero showed good chin in 2nd round but he would go down sooner or later
Odds on draw probably have been around + 3000 :scared

No kidding. When my buddy just told me the jail stuff, I was like "dude, why didn't you mention this sometime this week !"

I totally overlooked this bout. I think I glanced at Mabuza on boxrec, and like you punch, I was so unimpressed I moved on to the rest of the calendar.

I don't think too many people on that UNDER thought Mabuza would stop him.

It doesn't look like Holt actually did any time. Just 75 hours community service. Unless your buddy was talking about another incident.

Still, being mixed up in court cases and drugs isn't a very good way to stay focused on a boxing career.

Well, not a great week overall. 0-2-1 with top 3 picks of the weekend, but backed into a par with Rosado and Mabuza. The Vazquez fight had the early look of a distance fight until... and I think Mike Jones underestimates himself. Maybe it's all he's capable of, but it looks to me like he's got physical tools that even he's not aware of. Could've taken Bruseles out with that killer instinct.

Displeased overall... Let's get'em next week madmen!

Nice call on the Mayol draw Ghost. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. I almost pulled the trigger myself. TD with a Mayol headbutt was my thinking.

Thanks GW, Quanah, Punch, Romi
I threw the money on the DRAW because a Mayol fight almost guarantees controversy
it was 100% this thing was going to end with some craziness

Unfortunately, 5d has not graded the DRAW as a winner yet
maybe the big bossman is out for the evening

I will report tomorrow on this
but in the past, and by the rules, a DRAW is a DRAW is a DRAW

shouldn't have a problem getting this one

Congrats gents!

I was thinking about taking Mabuza as well...just because the line was soo wide, but I didnt...WTF happend to Holt, it looked as though he could have won against Bradley if he had fougt more positively...and now he loses to Mabuza!?

as for the mayol fight.
Shouldnt you get disqualified for such actions. I havent watched the fight, but it looks very intentional to me.
