so do you think Litz could pull the upset?

No, but anything is possible, he has a 2" height and reach advantage and good offensive skills, but his chin is fragile and his defence is horrible. Overall, I'd say Geurrero is a class above Litzua who is not ready for this step up in competition, thus my early play on the Under. I pulled the under b/c it could take him 9 or 10 rounds to finish him and I'm already up big for the night

I went 4-1 on the day, made a little dough but still pissed off. Poor money management on my part. Don't know why my biggest wager was on wilson. I know it's after the fact but of all the other wagers I felt good about, I put the most on that guy...should have been a small wager.

I didn't mention it on this site but i did @ boxrec yesterday...had the over on Bute 6 1/2 rds. The bet of the night was +130 under powell/finely. The weigh in pic that Punch mentioned earlier was the clincher. Many thx Punch...good call!

Speaking of weigh in pictures, just got a great one from the promoter and Rafa's upper body is unbelievable- looks like he's feather or super featherweight. Lot of Izzy's weight must be in his Noggin which has taken some incredible Rafa shots and quickly recovered.

My frustration last night was the under play at +
180 on Martinez. What a tough SOB Benjamin Garcia was. Floored 3 times and a couple of refs would have stopped it. I thought his corner was going to stop it! That would have made a huge night. Lost my long shot at Niidda, but the under I suggested to cover, cashed.

I bet the Under 6.5 -120 without having seen Finley, just knew he was a total scrub as he's from my area. Never saw the weigh-in photo, but when espn showed Finley in the locker room getting ready, I knew it would be over quik. Needless to say I doubled my wager at the last minute.

Thanks to everyone pushing the Bute Over, wasn't convinced myself as I thought Joppy was a shot fighter and Bute was wearing Reyes gloves, also Joppy said he was coming to fight...lol. Anyway, I put togethor a small parlay with Bute Over 6.5 -190 / Wilson-Walker won't go distance -260 and made a little extra cash.

Tonight I have a parlay of Vasq/Marq Won't Go Distance -265 / Cotto -1050 getting around -200 odds. Also have Marq. 12rd dec +780 and Vasq. 12rd dec +750 as hedges just in case, but all the profits are riding on a stoppage...risk free

Bottom line is, I will do whatever it takes to make money betting boxing or any other sport. If the more traditional bettors don't like the way I do things, they can simply stay out of my threads. Everyone has different betting strategies, mine has worked well for me so I'll continue to use it, despite the occasional disaproval of others.

traditional bettors don't make money betting sports, maybe that's why they don't like the way you do things.

Added fight does not go the dst vas/mar -265. was hoping for a little better odds but I'll be very surprised to see it go 12. Good luck everybody! Should be a great fight.

I was pretty big on Marquez by decision, also took Vazquez by decision but then decided to make that one a surebet. :/

My logic was that if Vazquez had been dominant enough to win a decision Marquez wouldnt have heard the final bell....

UFC brought me down, I thought Henderson would extend Silva, slight loss for the week....

Im hoping for a good Juan Diaz line too, Zerwas. Huge bet at the right line. Campbell couldn't take out an over-matched and feather-fisted Quiles, and mentally lapsed against Peden. He's also 36. My memories of Campbell are vague and I will have to re-watch some of his fights, but I recall him throwing wide and looping punches. The guy who beats Juan Diaz will throw straight punches and have a ramrod jab, use quick and close uppercuts, and be able to punch going backwards.

From my memory Campbell does none of those things.

Im also looking forward to Hatton-Laczano over/under, Lacz's record is littered with decisions and late KOs against legitimate opponents. I haven't seen him fight, but boxrec speaks volumes. Two 12-rounders with a prime Castillo, 11th rd TKO over Stevie Johnston, 12 rounds with Viv Harris, 11 with Malina.

Im hoping the oddsmakers gaff and expect an early Hatton KO.

Id like to hear opinions from you guys.

Depending on the odds, I might have a big play coming next week, lets hope the oddsmakers sleep on this one

Unfortunately I dont think there will be a good line for Diaz Campbell.

I suspect Diaz could wear him down for a late round stoppage and everybody seems to believe this fight goes the distance, so there might be some profit...
