Miranda, as always, says LOOK OUT!!! He is in top shape and out for blood. I stopped by the local Stations Casino affiliate near my crib, but no line yet. Its in North Las Vegas, at Texas Station casino. Miranda is a wild maniac and fun to watch if not bet to win. He has been getting gassed lately so I don't see it going all the way.

Play

Play

Chavez-Rubio -> Rubio

I was lucky to get some early odds at +450 and will add some more money on Draw and 1-2 prop. later.

Not the biggest play but value odds =)

Play: over 7.5-120.

Hi Frank,

I am on the opposite route...
Quigg inside / not the distance maybe even the under 9.5 hmmmm... (not finally decided yet)

I read a very intersting interview:

http://www.maxboxing.com/news/promo...-to-end-2012-as-british-and-european-champion

I think Quigg will be 100% commited and I dont know if his opponet will make it throught the mid rounds. 7.5 can work, but it could be very close.

The good thing, we both can win at the same time, if it goes over and under ;-)

Cheers

Cunningham: ?That is my belt, it is coming back to me,? Cunningham shouted during the face-off. ?You better hug it tonight. I am the real champion. Nobody is going to help you this time. I live, eat, sleep boxing. Nobody ever helped me. No referee helped me up off the ground when I got knocked down. I am worried, I am worried for you! I am the real champ.?

Will be an interesting fight!

Ovill does seem to pack a punch but he is awfully raw. Seems like a bit of steep price on McKenzie unless I'm reading Dodson badly and he simply will be overwhelmed.

Agree with the under, should be some good action and Dodson has suffered cuts in his recent bouts.

-------------

Elsewhere liking Rubio over Chavez Jr. Real challenge for Chavez Jr I think although I'm sure he'll have every advantage he shouldn't. ie ref, judges, weight etc. He appears to be a real tough kid who does have a good offense, especially to the body, but he is still a hype job with limited defensive abilities. +350 or so for Rubio looks good. Massive fight for Rubio if he wants to be taken seriously...same said for Chavez Jr too I guess. Anyways don't agree with the line, decent play on the dog.

My two cents on Marco Antonio Rubio

My two cents on Marco Antonio Rubio

I think the Kelly Pavlik fight is brought up the most when trying to give an assessment on Rubio's ceiling, but to me it was when he fought Rigoberto Alvarez. Then fighting at middleweight, it was a back and forth action kind of fight that had me very nervous until Rubio stopped him in the 9th. Rubio was being hit and backed up by Alvarez, who is slow, flat footed, and simply not that good. Rubio is a good fighter, but he can be backed up by a physically stronger fighter, which I believe JCC Jr. to be.
