Japanese Result

Japanese Result

Southpaw speedster Akifumi Shimoda (23-2-1, 10 KOs), 121.5, impressively captured the WBA super-bantam belt as he finely floored defending champ Retsuri Lee (AKA Ryol-Li Lee; 17-2-1, 8 KOs), 121.5, on three occasions, though hitting the deck himself once, and pounded out a unanimous decision over twelve hard-fought give-and-take rounds on Monday in Tokyo, Japan.

Damn how did Poonsawat lose to this guy Lee?

:0074 Thanks for the result Ghost!

Over 3.5 seemed like a sturdy play, being that Solis had never been stopped.

Gotta give it up for Ghost! You are the results man. Beats Boxrec, fightnews, boxingscene, and whoever the hell else. I don't know how you track down results so fast, but you are damn near the fastest outlet on the whole web for boxing results.

Sometimes I read stuff on message boards and Spanish sites, and I don't post until I am 100% certain

Don't want to jinx it for anyone playing it - but this one tonight definitely went the distance

helps to have a Salvadorean girlfriend who can translate this stuff - drives her nuts.

I'm always grabbing her and saying
"Did this go the distance? Shit what round? what round?"

She's heard a lot of yelling the last couple years regarding results - good and bad.

At least you can get your girl to participate. Mine has taken a likin' to making fun of me about my little boxing habit here. Here's a recent quote:

"How's your boy Ghost Kid doing? How about Romi? And why the fuk is that squirrel wearing a hat?"

Thanks to Thong I've had to explain, more than once, that madjack is in fact not a porn site.

We've got a deal. She tolerates my boxing addiction and I put up with The Big Bang Theory...sometimes Ace of Cakes. It's barely worth it.
