our common friend has the under at 190 as play he thinks Concepcion is an improving fighter who will try to impress here. i played it small

Thanks Tony- really appreciate the info noting the approval of another fine capper.

Inside sources tell me that Wilson's intentions are to go right after Flores and make him fight and not have to work any OT. Wilson def had some issues leading to his lethargy against Nwodo which have been solved. Hard to KO a guy when you feeling taking a nap on the canvas- Sleep issues which have supposedly been resolved. Only problem is I don't know squat about Flores- saw him wobble Jirov in sparring , but sparring is sparring and Jirov is past it. Go Ding-A-Ling

I added Escalante by dec @-105...260 to win 250.
Baranza just went 10 tough rds w/Jhonny Gonzo. I think this is fairly safe. I'll be happy if one of the 2 wagers pan out.

I joined you on that one- Jhonny G tried to bomb him out of there- was getting pretty frustrated.

I hate watching decision and over fights- it's like you have to sit there on the edge of your seat- anytime someone gets hit or wobbled. 10-12 rounds is a long time. You seem to be the Over king Romi. Seems like you do well on those.

I bet the unders as well but mostly the overs. I've gotten stung bad a few times but I do ok on those. The 2 that really hurt were Virchis/Hawkins back in Nov and last week kind of hurt on the bruseles fight when the guy got cut. The chin factor is what I consider most. If both guys can take a decnt whack against top comp combined w/so so power and good odds... I'll take the bet.

I flip flopped on the Wilson fight and perhaps w/that thinking I should have left it alone. I think he probably gets him out late but +800 odds on the dec...I couldn't resist. Good luck.

Adding

Flores by 12 round decision +573...lay .20 to win 1.15

This line is way off and will move big time, I will now be putting Wilson in a parlay or two as a hedge

gl bl

As posted, I have...

Flores over Wilson +155...lay .25 to win .40

Flores by 12 rd dec. +573....lay .20 to win 1.15

Also have Lyakhovich by 12 rd dec. +550...lay .30 to win 1.65

So I'm adding a parlay...

Wilson over Flores -220 / Valuev over Lyakhovich -275 / Berto over Trabant -800.....(+123)......lay 1.15 to win 1.40

My logic here is that Flores and Lyakhovich can only win by decision, so when the books came out with huge numbers on the decision props I decided to set up a win/win situation. As long as neither dogs scores a stoppage...I'll win decent money

I couldnt turn it down. On the surface it may look like a sucker bet but this could very well happen. Flores could feel the heat and get into survival mode...that's what I'm hoping for. I put 2 Bens on it simply for the value.

I thought you should have won it Romi.....

You had the right idea on that Wison dec prop at those juicy odds. It wasn't that Flores was that good- Wilson looked awful. Good get on the Escalante decision- that save me a bit on my blind Wilson backing. Congrats to all the Flores backers- smart stuff! Rivera easily outclassed and even stopped the raw Colombian.

I'm driving from Vegas to Temecula to be ringside for Williams and Berto. Bodog had a nice prop Willlams by TKO, KO DQ +125 for those who think he'll wear Quintana down. i

Won a nice chunk of change on Flores. I don't think highly of Flores but I thought his style would give Ding problems.

No more bets for me this weekend. I will live with what I won tonight :00hour .

Paul Williams points handicap -20? (2.40) bodog

Any KO is a winner, combined scores on all 3 judges scorecards at bout completion.

This looks very nice, especially when you consider that other bookies (5dimes) offer 1.847 for Willliams by ko alone.

With the limited knowledge I have of Williams and Quintana I guess that Williams wears him down for a late round stoppage....

Good scalp potential either.

Thoughts!?

Zertuche inside +370, 15 for 56
Rubio decision +290, 15 for 43

The play here is +250 Zert you guys got, but I missed it, took these two small.

Here's the situation, I have...

Zertuche over Rubio +250....lay .70 to win 1.75

Lyakhovich 12 rd decision +550...lay .30 to win 1.65

Adding parlay...Rubio -200 / Valuev -275...+105...lay .65 to win .70

Again my logic here is that Flores and Lyakhovich could only win by decision and 5dimes was offering huge odds on those props so I'm riding a win/win situation. Also boosting the possible profits is the line movement on Zertuche, it created a decent scalp by itself. Anyway, best case scenario would be like last night where the single plays hit and the parlay hedge was eliminated. Hopefully Zertuche wins tonight and I'll cash another 1.1 units to go along with the .40 from last night, and I would still have great odds riding on a Lyak decision next week ;)

If Zertuche loses I have that amount covered in the hedge parlay and I can always add more to Valuev next week to gaurantee a better profit from this scenario. Either way, as long as Valuev doesn't get stopped...things are looking good

As always my traditional "Romi Be careful what you are doing" post. I believe i was always wrong until now but i have to say that betting Williams at - 800 odds against Quintana is a pretty scary thought. Quintana will put up a really good fight and probably lose a close dec, but he is a lot faster than Margo and was over powered against Cotto but williams will not over power him.

I have a high opinion on Williams. Biggest betting win of last year against Margo (straight and dec prop) but Quintana is a legit fighter. My man recommends the over and a small bet on Quintana straight. And he is a VERY dangerous capper with big dogs.
Just wanted to let you know my opinion.
Take care and good luck.

Very nice capping Tony! I got bit on Williams. I THOUGHT he was the real deal but I was shtting by the end of the 2nd rd...my bad for wagering -800...went to the well once too often. I had a nice week going into the Williams fight but sure took a sht on that one. I ruined what was a decent yr to date. I'm only down a couple hund but a bit down for squandering a decnt bankroll. Still Looking forward to Vegas next week!

It happens to the best of us. Actually i didnt follow through with Quintana myself( i mean 20 bucks to win 150 is not following through). Zertuche costed me a big one.
I should have really banged Trabant under alot harder. I mean he was playing around with him, Trabant took some good shots but all in all pathetic.
