A few early thoughts:

Demers is so limited, but Zertuche may be shot
I think I might like the puncher Delvin over the boxer Alvarez

Jamie Moore should beat that old Italian stiff Piccirillo
Who the hell is the dude fighting R. Guerrero?

Can't wait for the HBO card Saturday night...

I have a small bet on Piccirillo. Moore is not that good and Piccirillo is a spoiler.
I think this fight could play out like the Jon Thaxton fight from this weekend, minus the first round KO rip-off.

Appreciate the heads up paulie
I have only seen Moore once in the war with Macklin
Piccirillo is 39 years old, but there are better favorites to use Saturday
I'll stay away form Moore

Lot of love for Julio out there...line has really come down. I'm not so sure. I think Kirkland might get him.

Hey weepaul, I think I may be sticking to the sweet science for a while. I'm rocking it here, and the WEC and UFC have been really up and down for me lately.

I don't blame you mate.

My WEC record was 1 Win 5 LOSSES!!! :mj07:
Most by split or majority decision

The last UFC I was 1 Win 3 LOSSES!!!

Ever since we started keeping track, my picks have gone down the shitter :em38: :flush:

We did not keep track of the MFC event and I made a killing.

I will continue to bet MMA but I am not going to keep track of units lost as it tends to make me vomit :toast:

Hate to say it but I hope you are wrong Wee. I put down a bit on Moore. Not that he's anything special but he's top Euro level and he shut down Sebastian Lujan who dominated Jose Luis Castillo. Pic is 39 and he was thrashed by Mayo and Forrest. Unless he's gotten into Naseem Richardson's stash, I can't see him pulling the upset. Good luck.

I'm on Kirkland -230. This guy is an animal. I haven't seen that kind of intensity since young Tyson. I know he's still unproven against top notch but I don't think Julio has the skills to deal with this guy. Julio has the pop to hurt Kirkland but I just think he's in with a guy that won't be denied. Somebody is going down in this one and I think early. I'll be at the fight!...can't wait. What a card!

I put down a good bet on Bradley -150. Holt was there to be taken but D Hop couldn't step up to the plate. Bradley has good solid skills and a fighters heart and I won't be surprised to see him get Holt out of there.

I am really looking forward to the Ortiz line.

gonna go against him paulie?

I'm honestly not sure what to think of this fight. the original opponent was going to be Vivian Harris. Harris is a complete piece of shite with no heart and no chin. Ortiz would have KO'ed him in 1 or 2 rounds.

But Arnoutis is a different fight altogether. He is much better than Harris.
My only issue with Arnoutis is his lack of killer instinct in there. I will never forgive him for the Ricardo Torres fight.
I bet big on Mighty Mike, and he knocked down Torres HARD early in the fight. Torres got up wobbly at 8...and what does Arnoutis do? Walks across the ring....and TOUCHES GLOVES WITH HIM!!?!!?!
Then goes on to lose a split. and take my money. bastard.
You can bet if Ortiz hurts Arnoutis, he won't tap his gloves and wait for him to recover.
Arnoutis has some skills though. We'll see what the line is.

Wonder what the over/under will be set at?
Julio got rocked badly by Rivera at 147....I think Kirkland might take this kid's head off

I believe Julio has 50% chances of knocking down / out Kirkland, whose defense is non existant.

Hard fight to bet on.

Romi; of these I agree with the Bradley play. Not to say the others aren't good also, but it's way too unpredictable for my taste. As long as Holt doesn't try to"upper-butt" (I coined that word) Bradley, I like him to take Holt.

Holt can be a dud sometimes but he is so explosive he can catch, hurt and stop anyone, even Bradley. He has rapier reflexes. That said, Bradley will probably put forth the more consistent effort and outpoint Holt. But he could stop Holt, too as we all know Holt is a bit chinny. And Bradley is no slouch in the speed department.

Logical outcome: Bradley W12 - but any outcome wouldn't be a surprise.

I agree with Crow here. I think Julio is slightly more skilled and has some pop but Kirkland is a killer who wants to tear your head off :scared

Kirkland is the better talent and in spite of him getting dropped, he's never really been on queer street. But Julio was with Cosme Rivera.Kirkland has the better beard and in fights like this that often is the deciding factor. Kirkland express rolls towards showdown with Angulo. But at -300 I don't love it. I'm waiting for the props. :0corn

No way Brother!!!

If the odds are close enough, I will bet huge on Ortiz.

:toast:

good to hear
:toast:

I think Ortiz may end up being what people thought Fernando Vargas would become
the guy seems to have it all

My early guesses for Saturday would be Kirkland mid rounds KO and Ortiz UD

I am not discounting Julio's chances...I just think when it comes down to it he punches harder, wants it more, and will win by stoppage

Conyers all but stopped him in the first rd; Kirkland quickly rose from the first knockdown, and walked straight into another right that turned his legs to jelly.

Had Conyers applied intelligent pressure he would have won in that first rd.

If there's a prop on Kirkland being dropped i will be all over it.
