i`ll throw this one out there because box didn`t address it,it`s a pretty big fight...and is damn near a pick`em....

many people think that the wrong guy is favored here.....that mormeck at 34 can`t come back from the bell k.o.....and they may be right....

.i hate wagering on toss-up fights.....but,after looking at it,i took a little mormeck at -110.....just to be a contrarian...

going against the old saw that the guy that wins the 1st usually wins the second....

alot has changed...i think mormeck was flush with his own success(beating then thought to be monster wayne braithwaite).....

i think he thought he`d do the same thing to bell...and he did for around 5 rounds....

he blew his wad early and bell won a battle of attrition...

now,it`s on mormeck`s home turf(hasn`t fought at home since 2002!)....don king will bring all his power to bear here...even bringing in richie giachetti to train moreck...

bell has been very close to losing in a slew of fights.....he actually lost to dale brown....he struggled with jason robinson...sebastian rothamnn....kelvin davis...

the guy`s never fought outside the states....not once...and he`s been inactive for 15 months...

a couple years difference in age....not a huge height differential...

and i considered that bell was scheduled to fight in that "superfighter"hvywt tourney in australia that was cancelled....word is he was training to fight in that tourney at 220.....now,he has to get back down to 200...

i don`t know who`s gonna win...i wouldn`t lay big odds here...but,when you factor everything in....and hope that you get the benefit of the doubt(in france) in a close fight...i think it`s worth a play...

4 of bell`s last 6 fights have been ridiculously close....the guy`s been walking a tightrope...
...i`m hoping that if it heads into the latter rounds that the homecourt advantage and a better training regimen helps mormeck weather the later rounds....

one of those fights that your head says,"leave it alone".....but,you feel compelled to play a little...

tough fight to wager on....small to medium play......more to come...

Notice in the Barrera-Marquez photo, Barrera has his hands in his pockets, while Marquez has his hands exposed. Yea, so what one might say. I'd say Barrera is taking this a tad lightly, in spite of all the rhetoric. True, Barrera is the consumate pro, but no one is perfect. Play is Marquez+125.

lord,i might as well hedge my mormeck-110 bet....

also small on cordoba+220......

and very small on the bell/mormeck draw prop(+1600)....you could see bell actually have an edge and come out with something goofy like a draw....

the first fight was close going into the 10th...

Gonna hold out on Barrera by decision +140 as it's slowly going up.

I think this fight will be much like the first one, but I expect Mormeck to last a little longer before fading this time around. I do think he will run out of gas eventualy though, if Bell is still standing and has anything left, he could finish Mormeck like he did last time. Great odds at almost 5-1

Fight will be shown here in the US, broadcast starts in about an hour.

The Krasniqi-Minto fight will be shown on streamtv at about the same time I believe
