Lucas by unanimous decision!!!

:mj14: :spotting: :toast: It's great to see lots of madjackers in the winning circle tonight! :yup

Just disapointed by the way Eric dealt with the fight. He is definitely not in shape and will need much more fights if he ever wants to dream for a world champ title. His comeback is tougher than i expected...

By the way judge decisions were: 119-103 116-105 and 119-104.
I know now why he could not finish him off. He said he injured his right hand during the 5th round and had to fight with his left hand for the rest of the fight.

great call boxlox

great call boxlox

nice call on the under for Magee/Vester. everyone was on lucas, even crawford's grandma.

glad to see no one played the mike stewart/rubio split decision fight on telefutura. It was a toss up in my opinion. I did play the over though at -245, glad it came in.

I am actually just laying some combined scores for tomorrow's PPV

Hussien Hussien +10.5 combined scores

Martin Castillo -8.5 combined scores
also Martin Castillo at -250

Morel hasn't beat a very good fighter in a very long time. plus he has looked lackluster over the past year. the rape trail looming over his head i'm sure doesn't help. Even if he comes to put on a great fight, I still don't think he wins. could be a stinker, but Castillo takes it.

good luck on your plays guys.

i`d say morel spent practically his whole career avoiding tough fights and top drawer opponents...

the guy was managed more carefully than joe mesi or paul spadafora,imo....

little did they know that lorenzo parra could fight...thankfully,parra put an end to the charade...

morel actually was on some pfp lists....and that`s laughable..

not saying that he`s horrible.....actually,it`s hard to say how good the guy was....he never stepped up...took tough fights......he`s a good fighter..slick ..just not nearly as good as he was cracked up to be... maybe he was as good as advertised...i seriously doubt it...if so,why was he protected so vigorously?.....i think parra answered that question in morel`s own backyard.....

he`s a decent boxer...not much power....very protected guy,imo....

could he win here?....possibly....not probable..the odds,imo,are a little steep,though...castillo is overpriced here...

i wish i knew more about hussein...after watching his brother play wooden indian vs larios,i`m wondering whether this hussein has any more life in him....

he hung tough vs wongdong(whatever) in thailand...a damned good fighter...

arce is a very good fighter....but,he`s gonna be the naturally much smaller guy in there...one guy coming up from jr fly and another going down from super fly.....

and at this weight,a few pounds is alot.....

i checked out some aussie boxing sites....and surprisingly,if your name`s not mundine or green, you basically don`t exist.....

????

btw....i put a few dollars on the draw prop in morales/pac........

A few thoughts on the Morales fight...

We all know that styles make fights and because of that you can't go by who has beat who to determine who will win a fight. For instance, some say that just because Pacquiao beat MAB, and MAB beat Morales, doesn't mean that Pac will beat Morales because they have different styles. They may be right but I think Pac can exploit the same weaknesses in Morales as Barrera did. When MAB tried to outbox Morales in the 2nd fight it didn't work. In the third fight he was the aggressor for most of the fight and was quicker than Morales. Pac is much faster than MAB so he will be twice as fast as Morales.

Morales is 2" taller and has a 5" length advantage but that will only come into play when Pac is on the outside. Pac and Freddy know that and they have both said in interveiws that they were going to take advantage of Morales being older and slower than he used to be. I expect Pac to be in Morales' face the entire fight, on the inside its better to have shorter faster arms than longer slower ones.

I think Morales' nose could come into play tonight, it was busted up pretty good and early against Barrera and we know what Pac did to Marquez' nose in one round. Just a thought

I played Pac by decision because I think its the most logical conclusion as long as its judged fairly. Pac will throw and land more punches, but he's stepping up to 130 and fighting a warrior with bigger gloves on so I don't think he will get the KO here.

I am a big Morales, MAB , and Marquez fan and I don't like Pac all that much. I'm just calling it the way I see it.
To be honest I hope Morales beats him like a drum.

even though i bet a small play on morales....i have to hedge with another small play on pacquaio inside the distance at a little over 2-1....

not enough to really make the wagers worthwhile

i just want to enjoy this...
