Wow, Fast Eddie couldn't do a thing. Misjudged that one.

Emanuel has been having meltdowns with his fighters for years. He gets quite panicky in there. Cracks me up.

One prospect he had named Fabian Williams, who was a talent, was giving away a fight to ordinary Ismail Negron. Steward laced enough f bombs on him to make a sailor blush.

Williams didn't do much, if anything after that. Man, was Stewart fuming.

He did that with Lennox Lewis too against Tyson because he was so scared that the fumes remaining from Tyson would knock Lewis cold.

So the question is, who can beat these guys (Klitschko's)? Maybe no one right now.

Monte Barrett told a friend of mine last night that Wlad KO'd chambers (cold) in training a few years ago. If true, then he's done it twice.

Wlad does a lot of guys with his right, but his short left hook is f**king deadly.

can't do it. Chambers is a cruiserweight. Klit is a superheavyweight.

The guy wins you a nice payout with 5 secs to go and no credit? Cmon Punch... the guy isn't pleasing to watch but it will take a VERY good fighter to unseat him. I thought he did what he had to do. I don't think anymore can be asked of him. Perhaps I give him too much credit but I think the guy has accomplished quite a bit, especially after getting iced by Brew a few yrs back. I do agree Chambers should shave 10 lbs and take on the cruisers. He'd be hard pressed to beat. Congrats on the W!

EXCELLENT job for all those that played the doggies! :toast: :toast: :toast:
Capping at it's finest IMO.

I played it safe and took Lindsay, over on Klit, and Solis. I need Solis tonight for a decent modest profit this week.

took the dogs all weekend and cashed in thanks to you guys. Without your support of the dogs I wouldn't of risked the money. Great weekend guys.

Wlad has starched a few fighters with that beauty of a hook. He used to use it more often but post Brew 1 he's been a bit shy with it. He caught Mercer with that shot and was the 1st to knock him out. Mercer was old but he still had a beard. He also knocked Sam Peter silly in the 12th with it. It's got to be one of the better hooks in the history of the div. That goes along with his jab as well...I'm certain Punchy will agree w/me:mj07:

Odlanier Solis wins !!!!!!
Easy work TKO 3

:00hour :00hour :00hour :00hour :00hour

WBC #2 rated heavyweight Odlanier ?La Sombra? Solis (16-0, 12 KOs) scored a third round TKO over former world title challenger Carl Davis Drummond (26-3, 20 KOs) on Saturday night at Mallory Square in Key West, Florida. Solis started getting to Drummond in round three and Drummond surprisingly quit in his corner at the end of the round. olis is hoping to land a shot at Vitali Klitschko later this year.

Way to go madmen!!!

-- Chambers to win was wishful thinking. At plus 5 still maybe worth the price of admission, but OVER was the smart bet here. Many of you guy's - Romi, Matt, Punchmaster, Hurricane Eddy...and others on that. Smart play.

-- Nice call on Powell rematch. I think Weasel was the first to point that out, Ghost there too. Shoulda followed the madmen sentiment there.

--2 outta 4 good size doggies not bad!!! Nice week as Lindsay and Solis do their thing. How about Solis vs. Wlad...I don't know.

--If Walker only had a chin... Reminder: 'Don't bet on bad fighters'.

--Matt 3 for 3. Solid, simple, and concise. Well done. Best weekend of the year for Lunch, right??

Yeehaw!!!

Great, great job guy's all around!!

Let's get'em again next week!!

No over/under anywhere on that. Still made out pretty good on parlays. Not a bad week at all.
Congrats all around :toast: :toast: :toast:

great week!!! :00hour

Congrats everybody!!

I think the madjack crew did a very good job this week!! :mj06:

I definetely should have put more on the underdogs!!

The thing is, if you start winning on underdogs you bet more on them...then you dont hit your bets anymore, you bet less...you start winning...and it starts all over again....

oh and BTW, I think you have got to give Wladimir some credit.

He really outclassed a fighter that is / was regarded as a legitimate top 5 fighter...on the other hand, Klitschkos size advantage wasnt even funny!!

I also get the feeling that little Wlad looks pretty stable these days...he got hit by a few blows but he never really budged.

Haye might have a shot against him, because he's quick and has some power, but any other heavey will be pretty much chanceless.

So many underdogs who had better chances than the odds suggested and almost all of them won but Walker . Powell , Bailey and Jamie McDonnell all won without trouble . Guess it's really worth it to hit those underdogs even if they fight on road like Bailey and McDonnell did .
Interesting that european bookies had 3 rounds difference for total in Walker vs Banks fight . Under/over 8.5 rounds was priced the same as under/over 5.5 at sportsbook and 5dimes :scared

Good point on why his hook is often in hibernation - he doesn't want to get countered. With his long right hand, it's pretty safe for him. I wonder if Manny didn't chew his ass out, that the fight would have gone the distance. Klitschko would have cruised home but for Steward's brutal insistence. I think Klitschko will always be cautious and won't break that punch out until he knows he's in very little jeopardy. He learned the hard way from Brew , as you said.
